Do you think, Ray Charles - If I Could, is a good song...
for both of us to dance with our parents at the same time, or do you think it's just a Father/Daughter song? Thanks!

I love that song 'If I Could', Barbara Streisand sings it ..
also and I'm trying to convince the FH to dance to that song with his mom because I think it really signifies their relationship - he doesn't want a real sappy song though. I think it's great for both dances. There won't be a dry eye in the place! :-)

what about a brother/sister dance to this song?
I also love this song and have been looking for a good brother/sister dance for me and my 15 year old brother. Do you ladies think that this would be a good song? Any opinions?

I don't think so ...
It was written for a mother/son - listen to the words - if it fits your relationship, then go for it. My first opinion was no - but I don't know your feelings towards your brother. I think the song is beautiful too!

what about a brother/sister dance to this song?
My baby brother and I danced to I hope you dance by Leann Womack. It was a total suprise to him and he became very emotional when it was over. I felt the words were my way of saying goodbye and that I`ll always look out for him and conveyed all the things I wanted and hoped for him. I think you`ll know the song when you get the same feeling from the lyrics. Decide what it is that you want to tell him, and see if you can find something that expresses that. Remember it should be something that has special meaning for the two of you. And it doesnt have to be typical my friend danced to Take Me out To the Ball Game, with her father because it had special meaning. and that;s what`s most important. Just my two cents.Welcome New Vendors
