...to ask his Best Man, Ushers, etc. to be in his bridal party?

we werent too impressed....but hey it may be useful for someone else.....



A Groomsman

A groomsman is a special pal
Who stays by his friend's side.
They wait together nervously
To meet a happy bride.

He does all things he's asked to do,
A friend in many ways.
Because he's there he helps to make
This one the best of days.

He also builds fond memories
That last forevermore,
For being part of special times
Is what good friends are for.





Our Best Man

A best man is a special friend,
As such a name implies.
In charge of parties, rings, and toasts,
He is the best of guys.

He also helps a nervous groom
And gets him there on time.
He calms his nerves and has him there
Before a bell can chime.

He gives advice and lends an ear;
He does all this and more.
He’s always by his best friend’s side.
That’s what a pal is for!

oh trust me Alex is so not a poem kinda guy...i think the guys would of laughed at him! Even though i thougt it was kinda sweet!!
When he finally asked his best friend to be his best man.....the corn ball took the business card to where we are getting tuxs from....and on the back wrote 'id be honored, if you were my best man!' than when we went over to see him he was talking about tuxs and he looks over and says in case you need to rent a tux, heres a good place. His friend is like what?! totally lost, but as he looks at the card he saw what my Fi wrote....it was cute bc his friend was like omg dude...def id love too be, and they hugged!

Those are great...thank you so much! I'm actually going to tweak them a little bit to make them fit Rocco's personality a little better though but that's a great starting point for us!

Oh my FH is without a doubt not a poem type of guy either, so we're trying to make it a little quirky. His guys will get a kick out of it. This is what we're doing for his guys...

We ordered these cards from my mom's office they're about 5' x 4', totally black and shiny and say 'Announcing' on the front in white, then when you open them it has all these trumpet's playing like...da...da...daaa....da-da-da-da-da-daaaa!! That's my interpretation of it You can put anything on the inside so I'm going to print out on of those poems for each person and glue it to the inside.
