Has anyone had the 'Virtual Nails' done at Dashing Diva?
I recently noticed that they opened up a store in Westchester, and I know there is the original one in Manhattan and one on LI (I think)So I was wondering if anyone has used them or has any info about them?
The claim is their Virtual Nail tips are so much nicer than regular acrylic/wraps tips.. and cheaper.
I have a wedding coming up and wanted to get them for just 2 weeks to make my nails look 'pretty' , then plan to rip them off.
Anyone used them/recommend them?
TIA

Yes, I got them done, actually for the second time yesterday...I looove them, they aren't awfully fake looking, keep them on the shorter side, not that gaudy and long, and it'll be fine, they are 20 bucks, and they last longer than 2 weeks, but you are going to need to go back to the salon and have them taken off....and you can change the color on them yourself..I love them, and I refuse to pay 80 bucks for tips....

Re: Has anyone had the 'Virtual Nails' done at Dashing Diva?
Thanks a bunch for the info, ladies!I was so excited when I saw they opened a Dashing Diva closeby where I live in White Plains (Westchester) . I always wanted to try them, but first was looking for some feedback
I am happy to hear you are satisfied with them , I am gonna go for it I think

Before my wedding i was getting the permanent french tips, and they looked awesome , but became too 'high maintenance' and expensive .. not to mention they totally damaged my nails and I hated how 'thick' they looked after awhile
I miss having 'nails' so I figured I'd give this a shot
Thanx again

Felicia-I have yet to find a nail salon up here in Westchester. I still go out to LI to get my nails done.I tried Dashing Diva last week (on mamaroneck ave) and I HATE the virtual nails!!!!!!!!!! They look so fake looking and at least 3 people have already told me so.
But the salon is really cute inside and every Thursday and Friday they give you free Cosmopolitans with a manicure or a pedicure.
That being said, I don't think I would try them again.
I would love to find a nail salon up here but until I do I'm gonna stick with driving out to LI to get my nails done.

Where is the Dashing Diva on LI?? My BP took me to the one in NYC as part of my Bachelorette in the City (bachelorette party) and I loved it there!

my nails fair much better with the virtuals than with the acrylics, wraps or gel/powder combos I've had in the past.. mine look more real and well shaped... most people think they are real, not fake...

Who is your manicurist at Dashing Diva? I had virtual nails put on once at the Dashing Diva in the village and did not care for them but I think it was the manicurist and not the nails.
