Hotels near the Swan Club?
A new concern of FH's...hotels near the Swan Club. We're from Queens and aside from the recommended vendors on their site (Roslyn Claremont and Glen Cove Mansion), we don't know what else is around there.Help me, oh wise ones. I guess we should start checking rates so we can block rooms.
Thanks!

Re: Hotels near the Swan Club?
Roslyn Claremont would def be the closest. But they also just opened the Andrew Hotel in Great Neck....that's not too far.
ETA: There's also the Plaza and/or the Ritz Carlton in Manhasset, but I'm sure they're

Re: Hotels near the Swan Club?
Thanks...only thing is, those places are a little too much for the out-of-towners I think.Anyone know where the closest Marriot/Sheraton/Hilton would be? Is the Garden City La Quinta nearby?
I've searched online, but geographical distance does not always = travel time when it comes to NY. (Does that make sense?)

we decided to stay at the four points. We visited a few of the area hotels and werent impressed. We felt the four points gave us the best bang for our buck.

I have the same problem. My mother and I were looking at the Marriott in Uniondale and the Andrew. We are still on the hunt. The Roslyn Claremont was extremely expensive (something like $230 a night)

When you set up a block it is usually cheaper. For my friends block, guests were charged 179 per night at the claremont.

If you tell the Glen Cove Mansion your wedding is at the Swan Club they'll give you a reduced rate on top of the normal 'wedding rate' - our room block was only $159 for a Friday night. And the brunch the next morning was AWESOME.
