How do you adjust hoops in a hoop crinoline?

I just got mine in the mail

There should be a spot on the skirt that is open and you can see the hoops. Spin that around until you see where it stops (hope this is making sense).
On mine I just had to push it together to make it smaller and pull it out to make it bigger.

Did you sit in yours? Mine popped in my face which i was afraid of!!!

Thanks!!! There are these 2 plastic things on the ends, do I hold them and push? I'm confused

I didnt sit yet...too poofy to even think of trying on yet. I must make it smaller 1st if I learn how to.

Is your dress A-line or poofy? Mine is A-line so i made the hoops smaller. Is this crinoline better than a regular one w/ no hoops?

Oh good, glad it worked

My dress is a ball gown and is a really heavy material so it will pretty much crush a regular crinoline. I'm not so sure about this hoop though, its pretty short on me and it sits funny. I guess I'll see when I try it on with my dress though.....
