How far in advance will you book bridal shower?

Usually they fall 1-4 months prior to the wedding depending. Booking it can be done anytime before invites go out as long as the place has that date available. Every restaurant is different on their booking policies (Ie: only books no more than 6 months prior to the event date etc) so its best to call and find out ahead of time. Mine will be about 2 months before. I told my moh who is planning I didn't really want it within the month before because I figured I'd be busy with last minute stuff.

Thanks. I was wondering when it should be booked... I have been calling places for next May and they make me seem nuts because it is so far in advance.

Yea I would wait until Jan but May is a busy month with Christenings, Communions, graduations etc so it probably books up fast. I like to book things early and get everything out of the way. My hotel block thought I was nuts booking it a year and a half out so I know how that feels. GL!
