Need Sweet 16 theme ideas

I told my cousin i would help plan her sweet 16. she wants a theme. She suggested a cinderella theme..what can i do to for this. also anyone have any other theme ideas? i thought maybe vegas theme but i have no idea what to do any ideas ?

my sweet 16 was 2 days before Valentine's day - I had hearts and cupids! Colors were pink and burgundy.

my sister just went to a costume party for a sweet 16, and she said it was by far the best. She went as a flapper. Everyone was decked out.

oh yeah! My sister was invted to an 80s prom Sweet 16 ---- she had a blast!

A Candy Theme - each table has a candy centerpiece (lolypop tower, bowl of chocolate, all sorts of stuff you can do here), have the guest of honor's name spellout out in dots on the wall, hand out candy necklaces and ring pops on the dance floor ... A co-worker of mine just did this for her step daughter and it was a hit with all the kids!

A Fashion Theme - each table has a different theme - Burburry, Versace, Louis Vitton, Coach, etc ... The girl's mother got shopping bags from each store and filled them with tissue paper with balloons coming out of the center. Maybe have fake scarfs, keychains or wallets as favors.

great ideas girls. Her b-day is the end of august. I was thinking of naming the tables after each cinderella chracter, getting glass slipper filled favors, a casle cake, maybe have the dj play cinderlla on a big screen for dinner or something.

Just a personal thought...I would stay away from a Vegas theme for 16 year old's. They're not old enough to gamble. And besides the gesture might be lost on them.

It depends on her maturity level. I think the cinderella theme is too young for a 16-year old (in my own opinion) but it depends on the girl.
At that age I wanted to be older and cooler not little girlish.

that is what i thought too, that it is too young, but she suggested it and I did not want to shoot her down. She is into cheering is there any kind of theme i could use that could incorporate chherleading?
