NEW NWR - I have jury duty. Anyone ever been to Brooklyn Federal Courthouse?

So, i have to go to brooklyn tomorrow for jury duty I have no clue where to go or how to get there. i'm trying to decide if i should drive or take the train. i really have no clue how to do either. i've never been to brooklyn. HELP!

I went there once for an interview. I didn't have to be there until 10am so it was a nice and easy drive.
I'm guessing that since it's for jury duty you'll have to be there by 9, so I'd say take the train. No need to fight traffic when you can just sit, right?

I suggest you take the train... its hard to park over there

You are going to the Eastern District of New York at 225 Cadman Plaza East right? I worked in that area for many years. There is not a lot of street parking there. You'll have to park in a lot. I think the closest one is inside the Marriot Hotel. The last time I parked there it was $14 a day if you got in before 9:00. I'm sure that the price has gone up.

I live right near there - if you want to drive there, you can park for $10 for the day - FM me if you want directions. Or LIRR to Flatbush, also super easy!

Take the train! I had to go for jury duty as well and it was much easier to take the train.

take the train. BQE rush hr traffic is horrible.

its an easy train ride & there are directions on the federal ct house site. not sure where you are coming from.

i would take the train if you can.

FH had jury there a few months back and he had to go for nearly 3 wks there. he drove, and spent so much $$ on parking. the first few days you are there (when you're not selected yet for a jury), you have to pay the regular price for parking. later, if you get picked for jury duty they give you some coupon for discount parking...but he still had to pay like $10-15 a day...but if that lot was full..he had to pay $22 a day.

don't bother bringing any metal objects or your cell phone inside...they will take it from you at the entrance, and make you voucher it for the day.
