Please look.........Invitation wording - How to add the reception info after the church info to the invite?

How do I say the NAME AND PLACE OF RECEPTION at the bottom of this???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

If you are not doing a separate reception card, then I would just put:

Reception to follow at:
NAME
City, NY

And then just include the direction card from the venue. You don't need to put the full address on the actual invite.

whew...okay, great idea...

But, the reception starts at 7 and the wedding ceremony is 3:30..... so its not immediately following....how should I include the TIME????

mine had...
just the church name and addess on the inviation...

THEN i had a separate reception card that said

' Reception and Dinner will follow
6 oclock in the evening

NAme of hall
address of hall'


then i also included a separate card with directions to the church and hall

Normally if the ceremony and reception are at different place you use a separate card with the reception details.

yes i know...but the invitation box we bought to do it ourselves only has..............

1. invitations

2. response cards

3. envelopes for both


so, what would you do???

can you buy similar paper and make the reception cards?

Unless your invites are very long, I honestly think all that info on the invite is too much.

What I would do is either use the response cards that they give you for the Reception card & then go out & buy cardstore to make rsvp cards or put something like

The Celebration Contines at
Hall Name
City, State

Cocktails will be served at X

Or something to that effect will work

after you put all of the ceremony information
skip a line
and write:
Reception to follow
at _ o'clock
_____ (location)
_____ (town)

my sister did this also!
it's one less thing people have to bring with them
to remember where and what time everything is
