Does anyone know the garbage pick schedule for North Bellmore?

We just moved there and our landlords have been away. Does anyone know the garbage schedule? And also where the post office is? TIA

I live near the Southern State, off of Bellmore Avenue.......
Garbage pick-up are Monday & Thursday
Recyle cans/bottles are Wednesday
Bushes, grass etc are Wednesday

But you may have to call the sanitation department in Merrick and ask them to check by your address.

Post Office: There are two

1- North Jerusalem Road across from the Stop and Shop

2- On Merrick Road - It's on a corner, but I'm not sure of the cross road

i live off of newbridge road -

Garbage - Mon & Thur
Recyle - Wed
Compost - Wed

but the holidays went and screwed it up on me lol

I used to at first, but now I put newspapers and magazines in brown paper bags (Macy's, supermarket etc) and put them out with the regular garbage. They always pick them up.

Where in Bellmore do all of you live? I live in N.Bellmore also right off of Newbridge road.... just wondering ... a new couple just moved in across the street- been wanting to introduce myself.

I found out that it is Mon and THurs, Recycle on Mon. And newspapers do not have to bundled. If you have cardboard, if it is under 2 ft then it is recyle if it is over it has to be cut flat and put with regular garbage.
