When I was planning my friend's shower, most of the prices I was quoted were $20 - $30 pp.

For the food and restaurant, yes. I found a place in Brooklyn that gives you a nice brunch for less than that and they give you the whole restaurant. Im sure there are lots of restaurants who do the same or have a private room.

But if you are looking to do the whole thing - invites, favors, games, decorations, etc.. for that price, it might be tough.

We are having our rehearsal dinner in a private room at Dave & Buster's and the buffet pp start around $14 plus $2 pp for all soda, coffee & tea.

We worked with Kristina and she was great and I'm sure would help put togteher something.

It depends where you are looking. I did my sisters for $20pp and i looked everywhere...Everything was $20-$25 even more if wanted a champagne punch.

I did my sons baptism at Giardino's in great neck ( or whatever that area is considered) and we got soo much delicious food and a cake and unlimited drinks for $32 per plate on a sunday afternoon. they have two really pretty private rooms in there.. one holds 35 the other 50 and we paid cash so no tax

I did my sister's bridal shower this past july at the Marriott Hotel in
Uniondale. It was a Sat. brunch (12-4 pm) and I payed around $28.75 pp
this included tons of food (cheese blintzed w/strawberry sauce, omlettes
prepared any way you liked, belgian waffles w/ whipped cream and fruit
other entree choices, I can't remember right now and all the coffee, tea, and
soda we wanted along with an assortment of bagels, pastrys such as
apple crisp, chocolate eclairs and other stuff and they provided the cake)
They also had options of champagne punch, bloody marys, and mimosa
for about $3 extra pp. It was in this beautiful room with a skylight called
the chardonay room. They also give you several menu options but this
one was the cheapest. Just wanted to give you an idea

My sisters is going to be at Pomodorino . We have a private room and it is $25 per person including deserts. There is a cheaper rate, I think a few $$ less per perons without dessert.

THE OLIVE GARDEN TOLD ME
$10.25- FOR LUNCH
AND TWO DIFFERENT DINNERS ONE IS $13.50
AND THE OTHER IS $15.50PP
THOSE PRICES INCLUDE EVERYTHING EXCEPT ALCOHOL. AND HE SAID YOU GET A CAKE WITH THAT BUT MOST PEOPLE BRING IN THERE OWN BECAUSE THEY DON'T WRITE ANYTHING ON THE CAKE

I had my shower here, and it was $32 pp and they give you SOOO much.

I looked into throwing a baby shower once at the Orchid in Garden City - it is an excellent chinese restaurant - they have showers all the time - I think a lunch shower is about 12 -15$ a person -

I looked at Jonathan's in Garden City Park
The Lucky Duck in Garden City Park
The Maine Maide Inn
The George Washington Manor
Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City
I have been to shower's at:
Peppercorns in Hicksville
Jolly Swagman Inn in hicksville (this is where mine was held)
a Chinese Buffet restaurant on Old Country Road
The Milleridge Inn ( I had her shower there)
The New Hyde Park Inn
Captain Bill's in Bayshore


I think these were all were under $30
But don't forget about tax and service charge..that is where it makes it go over the $30! That is where they really get you!

My bridal shower was at the New Hyde Park in. That was $33 per person and included the umbrella, wishing well, cake, punch, food, soda and wine.

We had my best friends shower at Elisa's in North Bellmore. That place was $15 per person.

We looked at Papparazzi in Westbury and we were quoted $19 per person and they have a very nice private room.
