Silly question--can I take my vellum paper to Kinkos so they can print my RD invites???

OMG my printer last night was giving me such problems and it would not print on the vellum--I only have 8 invites to send out. My sister go so frustrated we printed on the card that is suppose to go under the vellum--it looks ok, but I know it is not right. Has anyone gone to kinkos to have this done? Thanks! Oh yeah, do they print envelopes also????

I would think so. They have computers there you can 'rent' to do things like that. I believe they charge by the printed page. They charge a lot if you ask them to do it.

When I called Staples, they said no because vellum jams their printer.
But maybe Kinkos is different.

It's probably hit or miss. Vellum has different thicknesses. When I worked at Staples, they would never let people use their own paper. The copy girl was such a wench.

do you have access to a laser printer? For my sisters bridal shower invitations, we had to hand feed the vellum into the laser printer, but it was worth it in the end!

Yes you can but they charge you to use their printers let them do it so if there are mistakes you don't pay for it....as for vellum or embellished paper i was thinkingof doing my invites also but my wedding coord told me i could not on my inkjet printer at home i have brand new 1 week old all-in-one hp unit which was costly apparently inkjet sprays and will smear on these type of papers however laser will bond because of the heat so after that i said the heck with it i'll spend the extra and let the pros do it i know it's double the cost but i can't be bothered you'll spend that much replacing those ink cartridges which are just as expensive but good luck with kinkos if it doesn't work a lot of invite places are online and they have quick 24 hour turn times check out invitationsbydawn to start exclusively weddings, american wedding etc
