So - How Much Weight Did You Gain on Honeymoon??

I don't know for sure, because I don't remember my exact weight right before the wedding but I gained between 10-12 lbs on honeymoon - not kidding!!!
Oh well - everyone said I looked really thin at the wedding and says no one can tell now - I've been used to dieting all year - guess I'll just start again - but it sucks how fast it can just go on!!

Give or take a couple pounds, I knew what I weighed on my wedding day. The day I came home from our 10-day HM cruise, I got on the scale and literally it showed a 11 pound gain!!

OK YES I will admit we ate NONSTOP on our HM (cruises are sick!) but 11 pounds in 14 days is sooo bad

I am trying really hard to get back to my dieting, regime, but I have been struggling since we are home to get back on track. I dropped a few pounds but am still at least 7-8 pounds heavier than I was this time last month

All those months of dieting pre-wedding really put my body in to shock.. now its like 'FEED ME!' LOL

I gained 4-5 in Hawaii and that was with exercing every other morning! God help me if I didn't. All those yummy frozen drinks add up quick. There was even one drink we had a few times at the Hyatt that had ice cream in it too!!!

Tack on another 5 since the HM. It's been one big carb party over here. Depressing!

Not specifically on honeymoon, but I've gained about 10 lbs since wedding. It's so depressing my clothes don't fit!! and I just feel horrible. The thing is I was in pretty good shape before the wedding and I know that I must've gained more than 10lbs because I've lost so much muscle tone and muscle weighs more than fat.

Oh, well, it's getting better. Body for Life is a god send!!!!!

I didn't gain weight; I LOST weight. But for me that's not good - I need muscle so I don't look so thin. I just didn't have very much time to work out during the weeks leading up to the wedding, and there was no place to work out during the honeymoon. So I missed almost a whole month of going to the gym.
I'm back to my routine though and starting to fill out again

I have gained 3 pounds since the wedding. I am so upset about it. I really do feel a difference. I am still running but I know I am eating a lot more than I usually do.

i gained about 10 on the honeymoon. oh well, i didnt hold back, just truely enjoyed it! I've dropped the 10 and am finally back to my pre-honeymoon weight. A lot of hard work!!

DH and I both lost weight on out HM because I never knew how hilly Italy can be. We walked so much and there were stairs EVERYWHERE, especially in Positano.

Everyone was so surprised that we lost weight in Italy, except my MOH's dad who is from Naples. He smiled and said 'you lost weight in Positano, right?'

I came back stronger and sleeping better after my HM.

I've put back on 12lbs since the wedding ... but I think I was okay on the HM.

Oh man 10 after our Italian honeymoon, we ate so much liek 4 courses each meal and gelato gelato gelato, its hard trying to get them off, we also quit smokign when we got home and its been hard since my metabolism has changed so much I hate it cause I dont want people to be liek oh she lsot 45 poudns for the wedding and now shes putting it all back on. Im counting those ww points everyday again.

8 in two weeks. DH gained 7. he dropped that immediately though, of course!
i still need to get rid of 5 lbs to get back to my wedding day weight. the summer has been tough. too much going on.

I must have gained about 10 to 15 lbs on my HM.. and silly me thinking that I could work it off All inclusive resorts are the best for the value but the worst of the waistline.. LOL

Hang in there... once you get back to your normal eating habits, you'll go back to your 'pre HM' weight
