Suggestions for an Italian song for mother/son dance.

First let me start by saying when I say an Italian song, I don't mean one from Frank Sinatra. Even though he is one of the greatest. I just need couple suggestions for an Italian song for a mother/son dance at a wedding. 'Mama' & 'Le Mamme' both have been used at most of the weddings I have been to. Those songs are great and love them both but i just would like to have something different. Can someone help out with couple songs?

I am in the same boat and was going to ask the same question tonight. My mother and I want to both dance to an italian song. Any help is appreciated.

Someone told me about one song.. 'Portami a ballare' by Luca Barbarossa but i dont know the song or the lyrics. Never heard it before. So for now, i have to keep looking. I know im not going to use 'Mama' & 'Le Mamme' because they been used at almost every wedding i been to. Plus my brother used one of them to dance with my mother already. I would like a newer song but if not, i'll settle for whatever.

How about a Sarah Brightman song? She is a classical crossover singer who does original works and translations in a number of languages, including Italian. If you being unique is a concern, then a Brightman song will meet your criteria.
