What to put in a wishing well for bridal shower????

My best friend's wedding shower is this Saturday. We are having a wishing well. What kind of things should I buy for their wishing well?? Any suggestions?? Thanks!!! I also have to say to registry's with all online only items.

I just had my shower and got great wishing well things!

My SIL put in beautiful (gorgeous) thank you cards - that matched my navy blue theme! She also put in a great book on Italian travel vocabulary because we are going to Italy on our honeymoon.

I got an awesome ice cream scoop, a very pretty appetizer set (fancy picks!), a garlic press, those bag clips, etc. All useful stuff. I wish I had gotten the 'small' things I picked out on the registry in my wishing well -- so if she registered for small things, go that route first... If not, be creative!

Thanks girls!! I have no idea why I waited until last minute to get this stuff together I leave for a 3-day trip today and I don't get back until late Friday night. Her party is Saturday afternoon Ugghh, I have to pull this together.

You don't have to put all the stuff in the wishing well - You know that right? If it said wishing well on the invite, then everyone who comes brings an item or two for it. You're not expected to fill it yourself!

put things that she would never think of needing or registering for - here are some of my ideas:

ziploc bags

jar scooper (those scoop things that help you get to the bottom of a jar)

paper towels / toilet paper (hey, you can never have too much)

paper plates (for when they don't want to do dishes after making dinner)

ice cube trays

sponges or dish cloths

fun magnets

lint brush

that's all i can think of right now...

I got these bag clips that are also magnets - so you can use them to hang notes on the fridge! Those were awesome.

i like getting kitchen gadgetsthat people might not normally think of....like a pineapple slicer or corn holders, zester, apple corer, stuff you may not think you need but once you have it you end up using it alot!

at my cousins wedding, someone put in edible undies in the wishing well. it was hilarious when she pulled this out amongst the dish towels and egg separators....

I usually get a few cooking spoons and some pretty dish towels and tie them together with a ribbon.

Last year for my friends shower I put travel books and maps of the cities they were visiting on their honeymoon. If not that I always find you can never have enough dishtowels!!!
