Annoying:
I dont really remember anything annoying other than my step daughter and mil acting like brats while we were getting ready. I was stressed enough and dealing with Dh's stuck up mom and daughter...who didnt like the fact the attention was on me...(for the record SD never acts like a brat but she doesnt like to share the spot light either.) And every time i tried to assert my authority his mother would undermine me! WTH!!! Stepdaughter threw a fit because the room was 'cold' and i refused to let her get under the blankets. I get skeeved out very easily and hate the idea that someone else's feet were in the bed i was going to sleep in.

I paid for my MIL's hair to be done and she bitched about it the whole night.



Funny: I must admit it was an evening of awesomely comical proportions!


My sister caught my bouquet yay!!!! And her boyfriend of 9 years caught the garter...... my drunk sister decided to mount her boyfriend on the dance floor. DH & I were LMAO, i thought it was hilarious...my mother on the other hand not so much.


I forgot my vows and froze and you hear DH's grandfather yell from the font row 'I CANT HEAR YOU!!'

My 1 year old nephew was saying 'beep beep beep' as I was walking down the aisle my dad said 'Quick thats the signal reverse'

We had a cigar roller at our wedding and 1 of our guests (DH side) a very good friend of his got extremely drunk. Went outside to light his cigar and ended up eating a lit cigar. Poor guy had to go home early and couldnt figure out for days why the top of his mouth was bubbled up. smh at least it was a memorable wedding for him.

My MOH's sister ended up catching the bouquet. My 5 year old son really wanted to participate in the garter toss so MOH's brother went up to the front with my son on his shoulders. He had his arms up to balance him up there and the garter ended up going directly into his hand. The look on his face was priceless. The DJ went up to him and was like 'how do you feel?' He was like, 'That's my SISTER!!'

We ended up swapping out MOH's brother for mine. Which made it even more awkward since the DJ kept trying to get him to dance and he was having noooo part of it!

One of my bm's date canceled on her last minute so she brought a guy she had just met, well, he was clearly on E or something. He told my mom she was hot and was walking around CHCC looking for the football game!

i had a wedding crasher

my hall is attached to a restaurant, so DH and I went to the lobby to take pics on the staircase on our way out this drunk woman was on the phone and she got all giddy, 'omg omg omg theres a briiiiiide!!' she was talking to a child on the other end

anyway, fast forward to VH...and I see her on line for dessert with a plate in her hand with another woman

i approached her to ask her to leave and she fought with me saying, 'Ive been here all night what are you talking about Im a guest!'

I go, 'ummmm honey, look at me IM the BRIDE!!! I think I know who is invited and who is not!!!'

I waived my maitre'd over at that point she started walking back out and she told the maitre'd that she was just looking for her son because she lost him!! really?!! really?!!

it was quite funny tho!

and 2nd...

oh and my mom almost insulted the strolling table lady, no one knew that i hired her so my mom sees this young girl walking into my hall with a denim cutoff skirt, tank top and a full face of makeup and almost asked her to leave thinking she was a wedding crasher! lol when she saw her all dressed up as the table she felt really bad!

The volunteers at my church were nasty to my photographer after he said an innocent joke...we were taking pics, and the woman jumps in and says that's enough, and my photographer said 'ok, smile!'.

she gave him the look of death. lol.

I loved my wedding day, but now that I've had two weeks to reflect there were definitely some things. This is more of me venting than anything else, because I really did have a fantastic day.

My only two things immediately after the wedding were that we didn't get to spend enough time with guests and there were definite photos that I missed. Annoyed with myself that I wasn't better about a photo list and finishing it and giving it to my DOC.

Realized today, yes two weeks to the day, that I didn't ask for my gobo. Spent $300 on a customized gobo of my monogram through my florist and I don't have it. I reached out to them, but am not really expecting anything.

I had a custom sign made saying Cards that I was going to put by my cardbox. When I went to the store to pick it up, the girl couldn't find it. My cousin ended up getting it and it stayed in her brother's car and never made an appearance at the wedding. To this day, I still haven't seen it and have no idea what it looks like. Sigh.

I had a cigar roller as a surprise for DH and one of our bridal attendants pretty much spilled the beans. I was beyond annoyed. It was before VH and she started talking about the CR and I immediately told her to stop. She apologized after and DH was annoyed for me because it was pretty clear that when she started talking about it, I was motioning for her to stop immediately. Along the same lines, a lot of DH's friends went outside before VH and the CR to smoke the cigars they brought because they had no idea there would be a CR.

I have to say my biggest annoyance revolves around photos. The fact that my guests took photobooth pictures and didn't put them in our guest scrap book. I love that one of my cousins actually posted her strips on FB. Yeah, that I had never seen. I don't think most guests realize you get all the pictures after the fact. Also, that my guests aren't sending me or putting photos on FB, but I'm coming across albums of my wedding on their pages. Or that I wanted specific shots that didn't happen, one I even said something to my photographer about and she said we would do it later and we never did. I also don't think we have enough family formal portraits.

Annoyed that a bit more American music than Greek was played because I wanted the other way around, but we had a packed dance floor all night so I really have nothing to complain about there.

A couple of funny things. Well, not funny at the time, more so now. One of FIL's friends slipped on the dance floor early in the night when Greek music was playing and she went down hard. She ended up breaking her wrist. DH and I liked to think our wedding was so kick a$$ that we had a casualty. She's fine and we sent her flowers. In 34 years of going to Greek events with Greek dancing and money thrown on the floor, this is the first time I know of this happening.

Finally, DH's mom was left behind at the RH and ended up riding back to the hotel with us. Seriously. Tried not to let it bother me too much the night of.

That was pretty carthartic. I actualy feel much better. Like I said, none of it bothered me at the time but now it's little things like this. My wedding day, I was calm, happy bride and really enjoyed and took it all in.

At the reception, DH's friends were dancing all wildly and my uncle wanted in on the action. He was doing push-ups in the middle of the dance floor

oh i got a couple of incidents:

1) my sister in law showed up in shorts, like regular Old Navy brown shorts and a brown top (mind you this is my wedding, she is married to MY BROTHER who was a groomsman and HER KIDS were the flower girl and ringer bearer). Staying calm I whispered to my photographer to put her in the back for all the family pictures


2) my other brother's gf showed up in a WHITE DRESS!! thats right, pure white. I remember seeing her while I was in the limo and turned to my mom and was like 'are you serious' to which my mom started shaking her head. once again, she was not allowed in any family pictures!

Well you all know about my grandpa tripping and essentially stopping my wedding for a good 30-45 minutes lol

I also found out that a group of our friends were smoking pot behind the venue and one girl (who I can not stand) was coked out of her mind

Also, my one of my BMs and her date just up and left the wedding right after dinner. We were trying to track her down to take a group shot, but her sister (my MOH) called and found out she left. Yeah, real nice.

Anddddd to top it all off, my SIL got knocked up that night as well

i havent spoken to them in almost 2 months (since the wedding). Thanksgiving is coming up so i can't wait to see them!! Give me some drinks and they will know how i truly feel! My cousin confronted my brother and was like 'why is your wife wearing shorts' and he was like 'she lost weight so she wanted to show it of?' ....can't make that stuff up
