Did your husband cry when you got married?

I'm really wondering If my FI would cry or not. Someone I work with got marred this weekend and he is a really tough guy and did not seem nervous at all about his wedding day - well the day came and he was sobbing as his future wife was coming down the aisle!!! :o) it was so cute!!!

a little, which made me cry! During our vows, I saw his eyes get a little red, and I lost it for a second! Then I gained my composure and I was ok.
I actually figured he'd be more emotional than he was.....but it's hard to know how anyone will react with the emotions of the day and everyone staring at you!

He didn't cry on our wedding day, but he did get teary when he asked me to marry him. VERY out of character for my stone hearted cop!

Like a baby!!

I was very surprised..he is very mocho...but the second I walked down the aisle he started crying ( I didn't even realize bc I was in lala land), and then during the vows he barely could spit them out...I had to use my hanky to wipe his eyes..it was really touching and it made everyone cry. Even the Deacon, during the homely, said how he couldn't believe he was crying since he has been so relaxed over the past year! It really was one of the best parts of the entire day.

He cried when he saw me! And was trying to hold it in. you can hear him snffiling on the video!!

yes! in ceremony and best man speech and first dance
watery eyes, he kept saying it was the sun in his eyes during the ceremony but when u see the video and my proofs, you can tell he was crying!

he came close but he did not actually cry, which is good because then I would have started bawling...instead of getting a case of the giggles.

What is it with these boys and their 'boys dont cry' attitudes?? Same as JennRenee here too.

But when our son was born he was outpouring with tears. He was SOOOO overcome with emotion, that it was priceless to watch daddy and his boy (didja have to get me started?)

Yep, he knew he would though. He cried (not sobbing but definite tears)
when I was walking down the aisle, and definitely during the best man speech, not sure about mother son dance, though I know she was.

He looked very nervous but he really didn't cry until later at the reception when I sang to him.

Yes. There is this great shot when we are doing are first dance and he is all teary eyed. I love it. He totally doesn't remember, but the photographer and others caught it. I am definitely putting it in the wedding album.

As I was walking down the isle
then again when we reached the altar & the Pastor started talking.

He didn't bawl tho' he got choked up and a few tears fell. It's caught on video

My DH so did not cry! He told me that he doesn't cry with happiness, so if he was crying that I should be worried! But I didn't cry at all that day either. I think we were honestly so excited and elated that the tears just weren't part of it.

My hubby cried as he was saying his vows (awh how cute) which made me start to loose it too....and I was doing so good up until then. Then he cried again when his brother gave his BM toast....I think he had the whole room in tears it was quite touching.

He said that he started to cry when I was walking down the aisle but once he saw me hysterical he stopped and was more concerned about why I was crying so much. He said it looked like I was in pain! I was just an emotional wreck becuae of the robbery..(don't know if you all heard that story!)

He started crying again during the receiving line...

He cried when he first saw me coming down the aisle. I was trying to run past the clear stain glass so he wouldn't see me and he said he caught a glimpse of the white dress and that's when it became real to him. So when I was coming down the aisle and I saw all my friends and family from over the years I started to cry. So by the time I got to the alter we were both crying!!! Yep we're cry babies!

He did get choked up as I was walking downt he aisle and during our vows but he kept his composure it was sweet

Yup. My husband is also a 'keep it together' cop, and he got very choked up during his vows. His voice cracked and he had to stop a minute to let the lump in his throat go back down or he would have cried outright. It was great!!! I also got a little choked up, but didn't cry as much as I thought I would that day.

I've been crying since we're back from the HM though! Delayed reaction maybe....
