We def plan on waiting 3 yrs at least I have 3 major trips I want to take and I plan on starting my MBA next fall. Also I want to have a house by then so that gives us enough time for that as well.

We will probably wait a few years so we have time to move out of the city/buy a house and travel a bit more. When we've talked about having kids we're both only ready for 'half' of one...so maybe we'll start with a dog and see how that goes!

We are on our 2nd month of TTC!! It can be a very frustrating process...especially if you have just come off of BCP and are not sure how your cycles are going to be.

DH and I have known each other since we were 14 and have been together and living together for the past 3 years. Since we are both 31 we figured that we shouldn't wait too much longer to have a baby. Honestly, DH would have liked to have had a baby a year ago but we wanted to get settled in our house first. So for us it was buy the house, get engaged, get married and then have a baby. Hopefully our dreams of becoming pregnant happen soon because I would love a late summer/early fall baby!

We decided that we are going to start trying in September when we are in italy.. Would be cool if it happened the first time and made a baby in italy!!

but I already stopped taking bc so who knows.. hopefully we are careful enough before that bc I really want a year or so to just do whatever I want!

We want to get settled into married life for a bit, but time is not really on our side. I'm 34 and have Stage IV endometriosis, so we'll need to start trying (ideally) before I hit 35. The doctor keeps telling me I'm not getting any younger, but I still feel like I'm about 22. Go figure!

Def not anytime soon, but as we all know, accidents do happen... We have alot that we have to settle and sort through first before bringing someone else into this crazy world! I'd like the first before I'm 30 so that gives us like 3 yrs

hahaha i have this allllll planned out! lol.

I am going off the pill, getting physicals, etc at our one year. we are going to be 'careful' until the end of the year (2010) then we will start actively trying in the beginning of 2011, so we can have a baby at the end of 2011, beginning of 2012..

this is all based on the fact that we will be able to purchase a house soon, we are saving!!

but im keeping in mind that accidents DO happen! im reminded of that every time i look at my 3 (almost 5...sis and SIL are preg) niece/nephews!

We are going to wait a few years. There is still a lot we both want to do, travel, get the 'dream house', etc. I love my freedom and we both love to go out whenever we like.
It's not that I feel mentally young or anything, it's just that DH and I are focused on other things right now.

To boot, we have ELEVEN nieces and nephews, most of them under the age of 7. In the meantime, I cure my baby itch spending a few hours with them!

Well, our situation is somewhat different.

DH and I have been together almost 8 years now. We have lived together for 6 years, and bought our house 3 years ago. DH has wanted to TTC for quite some time now... But I wanted us to be married, and have somewhere to call our own, rather than our old apartment. Now that we were finally able to have the wedding we always dreamed of, he wanted us to start immediately- lol.

But, we are going away in January on a cruise honeymoon/family vacation, and I DO NOT want to be enjoying the perils of morning sickness on board... so we are planning on having a honeymoon baby.
(or depending on how impatient we are, a 'stocking stuffer' baby )

We are probably going to wait till Im done or almost done with my masters. We'll probably start really trying in a year or so. I dont mind going to school preggo but I dont want to be giving birth on the floor doring my finals either!

OMG- During college finals a girl in one of my classes had her water break!! She seemed fairly shocked, and embaressed. The professor was nice enough to let her finish her final at another time.

There really is no plan right now. Definitely not ready to have kids just yet. We'd really like to be financially ready before we have kids. I'd love to be able to buy a house first. I am thinking two or three years. I am 26 now, and I'd really like to have my first before I am 30...not really sure why though.

DH wants to try in 2010 but due to finances I think we are going to wait. Also am I am not sure I am ready yet

I'm only 25 and DH is 26... so we would like to wait about 4 years. We are going to buy an apartment in about a year or less and still need to explore Europe before we have a baby.

We've been officially trying for 3 months now. Althouhg w/ me not being able to find a job right now - I am worried how we would financially support a child if we were to get pregnant, but Im already 38 & dont want to wait much longer to try either - I already know that being over 35 there are more health risks, so I'm stuck between a rock & a hard place. Im trying to take it one day at a time & if it's Gods' plan for us to get pregnant sooner than later- I am hoping it's also in his plan to find me a job to to help us be able to afford having a child.

Don't sweat it, my Ma had me at 38. She said it was the best delivery ever! And, I think everything will work out no matter what!

I would have a baby tomorrow if I could but we just bought our house so I know my DH wants to make sure we can pay our bills before we have a baby, but hopefully soon!!!
