Papal Blessings

I wanted to get a papal blessing for our wedding, but the Monsignor at our church did not have information to give us. I was wondering if anyone got one after there wedding.

I called the Chancery and she gave me the address and info. Is it too late to get one now? I guess the blessing won't be for our wedding but for our anniversary (2 years!).

Also please pray for the Pope this week, his health is failing and he is not doing very well as we speak.

'A recommendation from a parish priest of the person(s) who are getting married (both need to be catholic) or from another priest familiar with the couple, the date of the occasion, the name and address of the wedding church, an offering of $20, needs to be submitted in writing to

This information is what I received in the mail from the Apostolic Nunciature when I made an email request to an address I found somewhere on this website.

I got a different address, I called the Chancery of my Diocese (Brooklyn) and they gave me the following:

F. Lelli Garey

She said to include a check made out to F. Lelli Garey for $40.

Am hoping someone can confirm what I need to do exactly - the lady in the office did not give much info except for what I posted above.
