I work at an insurance company like Jess does. And I hate it. Been here for 3 years now...but it's a job that pays well while I am going for my Masters

Going to become a early childhood (birth-2nd grade) /special education teacher. I ultimately want to work in early intervention with the little ones. I love that field. But if the opportunity arises I would never turn down having my own classroom of kindergarteners or 1st graders.

before i got laid off - i used to be an asst manager doing media insertions and marketing campaigns in garden city & nyc

I haven't been on mediabistro in a long time -- I am not looking to work in the city and I think most of their jobs are in NYC. But thanks for reminding me, I will check it out again.

I used to be a real estate paralegal(dealing with mortgage lenders), until I was laid off in august. Looking for any admin assistant work, since there's NO HOPE in my field right now.
