Here is a kicker-
His sisters and their singnificant others 'chipped in' on a card- they each threw in a ten. This is the same sister that got married two years ago and I fought over him to give her $100 since it was his sister. Now I know better with his side of the family! ha.

I had I think 6 no shows!

2 were my cousin and her date and she was supposed to sing at the reception! She claims she couldn't find a babysitter, when I offered her someone she refused. Then I found out she had booked a gig that night (she's a singer) so Im avoiding her because IMO that is RUDE. She also lied to me and told me she sent me something from my registry - did I get it. Nothing was missing off my registry, I never got it and could just tell she was lying. I also then did not get any gift or anything from the wedding. I drove 8 hours and had to arrange to take a college final at another time to go to her wedding!

2 - my best friend and her husband - she got food poisoning and was in the hospital

2 random people I believe

We had no checks bounce and everyone who attended gave a gift.

If it makes you guys feel any better, I'm still getting gifts from a couple of people who attended but didn't give a gift that night and from people who weren't able to attend. So you never know...
