01-10-04 Wedding Review I have added some pics

Huntington Townhouse A-

I actually had an opportunity to eat and the food was really good. The place was decorated beautifully. I got compliments all night long and they are still coming. I gave them an A- because they did not provide the cake I had originally ordered and they changed the cocktail hour room, I forgot the name of the room but it was supposed to be in the one that converts into an open deck. I believe they changed the room because of the cold weather, I notice at the rehearsal the day before it was rather cold in that room. On the wedding day it was three degrees outside. Anyway they made it up with a free cordial bar and sundae bar. All in all HTH was FABULOUS.

Royalty Limousine A+
I had a 2 14s, 1 55 Bus and a return car. They were courteous, clean and on time.

Chameleon Makeup Services Linda Lane A-
Everyone looked beautiful she did a great job. However, she took too long with each girl, although we were not late, we did not leave when we had originally planned. Granted I did have 10 heads in a two hour time frame…. all in all she is definitely a good artist.

Mya Swank Productions A-
Wedding Day of Coordinator, she was a doll to work with and did everything that I asked her to do, however there were a couple of things she overlooked…..but so did I.

My hair was done for free by my regular hairstylist

Ultimate Sounds Djs A+++++++
They were on fire, the best, enough said.

Counterpoint A+
Ceremony musicians they provided a viola and violin duo, they played beautifully.

Heart to Heart Florist B
My CPs were supposed to have fake snow on them and they didn’t, my flowers were not supposed to have any green leaves in them and they did and I was not supplied with amount of rose petals that I was initially asked for. However, everyone still loved the CPs

RK Bridal A
They supplied my gown, 1 MOB, MOH and 7 BMs no problems.

Zeller Tuxedos A
They supplied 12 Tuxes no problems.

Rick Holman Video Productions - Don’t know yet, but a pleasure to work with.

Alan Spencer of Prestige Weddings - Don’t know yet, but a pleasure to work with.

Honeymoon Couples Resorts (Couples SweptAway Negril) A++++++++++++++
If you have not gone, you must go!!!!

I think that’s everything. I tried to fair as far as grading is concerned but, overall I was extremely pleased with outcome of the day and my guest complimented everything. I just wish it lasted longer!

Julissa, these are incredible! You look amazing and everything sounds great! MORE PICS! I'm getting married in that room so I want to see it!

Thanks for letting me know about the Lynda Lane taking time thing. Although 10 people in 2 hours is a lot!

I think it was probably a good thing that they changed your cocktail hour room - it sounds like everyone would have been freezing!

HTH put up the tulle and the chair covers at an additional cost of course.

Your welcome about Linda, but don't get me wrong if I ever need a makeup artist I will definitely call her, she's good. My review was not to discourage just inform. Like I said I was pleased, with all my vendors overall.
