3/25/11 Westbury manor, celestial photo, skyline orchestras, royalty limo, davids bridal, dire tuxedos

Don't really post much so bare with me. I was probably one of the most easy going brides. i did not get stressed i did not get angry or upset ever.

alittle background story:
Andrew purposed to me in jan 2009 at oheka castle. he is a photographer himself. however right now he is currently away at boot camp for two moths (miss him) this was our amazing wedding.

early in the morning i woke up. maybe about 4am. i couldnt sleep and i was very sick, sour throught, headche, coughing.. u name it i had it. i would never wish for anyone else to ever have that on there wedding day. I work at a hair salon in new hyde park it's lemon tree. i know lemon tree ugh is what many people think. but all have you know me and jenn the hair genie worked together before she left to only do wedding partys. i work with 12 amazing girls and they all do amazing hair.

then i ate mcdonnalds in my wedding gown. lol

my wedding gown is a knock off maggie sottero sabelle. instead of 1600 i baught it for 600 on some website from hong kong. it was fine. it's only one day. i have to fix the bottom because i am only 5'0 and a half.

the girls dresses we got from davids bridal. i asked them to choose there own dresses and just gave them the colors but all the bridesmaids chose the same dress... the jr bridesmaids were from davids bridal too. the flower girls were from a website online that i dont recall the name of. maybe something like my little girls dress.

the bouquets we used avenue j florests in brooklyn. i basiucally showed them pictures and said do whatever you think is best. the driver was right on time.

as for the tuxes we used di re' they are together with royalty limo.

Our invitations i purchased online from 123print.com they came fast and perfect. and inexpensive.

my shoes were flats chinese laundry shoes. i dont really like to wear shoes at all so i was barefoot most of the time.

our photographer was lou cohn from celestial photo. he is great everything was done very fast. came to my moms house first took pictures then we went to westbury manor and took pictures. he was there the whole time and didnt miss a thing. our album was online the morning after and our proofs were ready as soon as we got home from the honeymoon. i got our thank you cards just 2 weeks ago which we got so many compliments about. he also did the video with his company can''t wait to see it. lou is an extremely straight forward person and thats what we liked about him. he is very honest. and the pictures were great.


Skyline was our band. if you closed your eyes you wouldnt have thought so. they are the best band ever. they played everything. people are still telling me how amazing they were and where we found them. honestly i heard girls on liweddings rave about them so i went to go take a listen. they were the first band we saw and i fell in love. since they were the first band skyline recommened us to take a look around at other bands. we looked at the other band in there company code bleu but skyline was more us. and in the two years of planning we really got to get to know them and they got to know us. Andrew even got up and sang one song (he loves kareoke)

WESTBURY MANOR- was amazing. they werre so attentive from the second we walked in for pictures to after we were out the door. my bridal attendent, niaomi followed me around with hot tea because i was sick and snuck me for a ciggarette too! it was so amazing to have two people all over me like that. they made me truly feel like a princess my matre d was pam and she was great! she took care of everything for me. people keep telling me how great the food was. we had our ceremony there and that was perfect as well!

royalty limo drove us from my house to westbury manor. since we didnt have a church. they were good. can't say much because it was a short ride.

we stayed at the hilton garden inn in westbury. whcihc work hand in hand with westbury manor so we got a free shuttle bus to the hotel. then the hotel bar stayed open until two am for our guests. the next morning we had breakfast. and we stayed there another night then we went to aruba. which i would HIGHLY recomend. i dont have pictures of that because my video needed them for the montage afterwards.

almost forgot my makeup was done by my friend olivia anastasia. she did airbrush and just very nataural. i had also gona tanning.

great review and beautiful pics!!!

We booked Code Bleu through Skyline Orchestras..they played at my mothers wedding and where amazing. Skyline is worth every penny!!!

thanks .. dont know if i mensioned but it was hair extensions. lol. my hair is only up to my shoulders and it just doesnt grow. probably because i always dye it. lol
