Firstly, I wish for all of you to have as beautiful of a wedding day as I did. It was more perfect than I could have ever dreamed of. We gave ourselves 2.5 years to plan, and, while the process was a bit stressful at times, we had time to space things out. I wouldn’t change a thing. It was the best day of our lives!!!!!!! We really took it all in and enjoyed our wedding. Every now and then, we reminded each other to stop in the moment and take it all in.

I loved all of my vendors. I don’t have any pictures yet. I will add to this as I think of more. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!!

Flowerfield – AAAAAA+++++++++
From beginning to end, Flowerfield met every expectation and was beyond amazing. They are a little pricier than other places we looked at, but there is a reason for it. Their service is impeccable, and they accommodated my every request. Kerry was my planner and she was just fantastic. I told her she was my fairy godmother. Joette was my bridal attendant and she was wonderful. She took care of me, my husband, our families, and bridal party like royalty. She was attentive without being too much. She bustled my dress, pinned my halter when it felt loose, pinned up my dress when I was stepping on it, made sure my makeup was okay, helped me go to the bathroom!! During CH, she told us to go into the bridal suite so that we could eat. She asked what we wanted; we said everything. She literally brought us 15 plates of everything, and we tasted every single thing at CH. Every single thing was seriously out of this world delicious. She brought us drinks while we were in there. FH and I got to enjoy 40 minutes of alone time. It was amazing. During the reception, Andy catered to us completely. He made sure that our glasses were always full and that we were always happy. Our cardbox was overflowing and Andy cleaned it out at least three times, made sure all of our envelopes were secure, and pretty much guarded our area and the box all night. A few people spilled drinks on the floor and they were cleaned in seconds. Every employee there is super friendly and willing to help. They have can-do attitudes and do what it takes to make you happy. The bartenders were amazing. They were quick and had everyone happy all night. Dinner was incredible. They brought out two platters for my husband and I, filled with every entrée, one for the both of us. Everything was INCREDIBLE. I created a southwest station for CH: ribs (incredible ribs), mac n cheese, corn bread, fried chicken...it was a hit!!! They even made my request for fried oreos happen! They made them fresh in the kitchen and they were off the hook. Rest assured that they will not serve anything that isn't top notch. I originally wanted the fried oreos with the southwest station but they refused because they said it would get soggy in a sterno. They insisted on bringing them fresh from the kitchen. They gave me a choice of having it passed at CH or at dessert. I chose dessert. YUM! They even ordered me cucumber vodka for the bar (I’m obsessed with it). If I could have every event at this place, I would. If you can swing the cost, Flowerfield is the place to go. You will have absolutely no regrets. I trusted them completely and they 1000000% delivered. AMAZING!!!!!!

Music – Franklin Wayne Dreamkast – AAAAAA++++++++
AMAZING!!!!! They played every genre of music from Sinatra, Bocelli, Mary J. Blige, Sublime, Paul Simon, Pitbull, LMF*AO, 112, EVERYTHING!!!! They had the dance floor packed all night and they were just out of this world. Pete and Genessa are the band leaders and they are such awesome, personable people. They checked on us periodically to see if there was anything we wanted to hear. They were SO FUN!!!! They even learned the reggae version of Baby I Love Your Way for our first dance. I danced my butt off all night!! I think we danced to every single song.

North Island Photography – AAAAAA+++++++ (Review is based on day-of experience, pictures are pending.)
AMAZING. I have a few teasers in my album. Debbie and William were our photographers, and they were great. They arrived on time and started right away. They wasted no time at all. They took pictures of all the details while my bridesmaid were getting dressed. Once the bridesmaids were dressed, they took pictures of me getting into my dress, in my dress, with my mom, family at the hotel. We gave ourselves a lot of time in between ceremony and CH (three hours), so we were able to get everything in and then actually enjoy our CH. We took every possible family picture combination, over an hour of shots of FH and I, and then bridal party fun shots. They were great at directing and they worked together so nicely. During the reception, every time a great moment was happening, I looked for the photog, and they were right there snapping away. They were never invasive but always present and soooo creative. I loved them.

Towers Flowers - Nesconset (there is also a Babylon location owned by someone else. This review is strictly for Nesconset) - AAAAAAA++++++
Brigette is amazing!!!! I absolutely loved her from the first time I met her. I had flower issues with another top-rated vendor, and I really was frustrated and thought what I wanted was impossible. I found Brigitte through a review on this site. When I met Brigitte, I explained to her what I wanted and she brought my vision to life. I really didn't care about flowers until I met her. She has the most beautiful vision and creativity. She won't stop until you are happy. She is so easy to work with, and I seriously love her. Her pricing is very fair, and she will do what it takes to make you happy. She included more in my package and quoted me less than anyone else by about $200. I will use her for all of my flowers now. The day-of, she was on time with everything, and she personally delivered to my hotel room. They were more beautiful than I imagined. She even decorated my cake beautifully. I gave her a hug and told her she made my dreams come true. Use her. You will not be disappointed.

Lancelot Limo – A+
Rob is super easy to get along with and eager to please. He is very flexible and fair. His pricing is competitive and his cars are super clean. During our ride to the church, we had the antique car. My dad was leaning on the door, and the door flew open and wouldn’t close. The driver had to stop the car, and it turns out that something in the door broke and stopped it from closing. The driver did a quick fix and we were moving again. It was nerve-wracking, but it turned out fine, and I'm happy my dad didn't fly out the door. Our limo driver (I forget his name!) was very nice, and he helped calm me down before the ceremony. He even straightened out my veil before I started walking down the altar.

Couped-Up Productions – AAAA+++++ (Review is based on day-of experience, video is pending.)
Rob is very friendly and pleasant. He was there from beginning to end. Our contract said that he would leave after the cake cutting, and he was totally there until 12:30 packing up with us as we left. At one point, we had a circle dance going on, and I think I even saw him high up on a ladder or a chair or something (LOL) to capture it all!! He was non-invasive and very laid-back.

Invitations – Only You in Islip - A+
Invitations were my biggest PAIN!!! I didn’t realize that invitations were expensive, and I didn’t realize that I needed to start looking like eight months in advance. I started looking in January for my April wedding. Everywhere I went gave me anxiety, saying that I was on a really tight deadline and a face like “what took you so long”. I hated it. I didn’t know what style I wanted, and every time I found one I liked, I changed my mind. Finally, in mid-February, I was recommended to Only You. I met with Melinda in the beginning of March, and she gave me the same face as everyone else, like what were you waiting for, but I decided to stick with her because something about her made me trust her, like she knew what she was doing and could get it done. I’m so happy I did. I picked out invitations the first day I met with her and put the order in. Then that major snowstorm hit and knocked out the East Coast for a few days, pushing back my order. My order was due to come in March 6, and now with the snow it got pushed back to March 12 (for my April 27 wedding….stress!!!!!!)…….but somehow Melinda made it work, and my invitations arrived the last week of February. They were a little pricy but perfect, elegant, and gorgeous. She made it work. She knows what she is doing, and she loves what she does. She’s been in business for a long time, and I would recommend her.

Dress – Angel Bridal - A+
I love this shop, and the owners, Rosemary and Vicki, are sweethearts. They are so calming, and they gave me personalized service every single time. The seamstress, Rosalba, is amazing. Loved them.

Headpiece, veils - Denise Leli – A+
I loved, loved, LOVED my headpiece and veils, and Denise is a sweetheart.

Favors – Really Good Fruit Jams, Cutchogue, NY – A+
I saw this vendor at the strawberry festival a few years back and kept it in mind for a wedding favor. We looked at other things as favors, but nothing really compared. Ken is pretty much a one-man shop in Cutchogue. He makes and jars all of his delicious jams. He even gave us personalized labels for each jar. He was responsive and great to work with. Loved our favors and it was a very easy process, plus I was happy to support a local business.

Omega Express - Coach Bus - D
We had many guests coming from Brooklyn, so my parents got a coach bus for them. My mom arranged with the manager that at the end of the night, the bus would stop at the hotel for our guests who were staying there and then continue on to Brooklyn. The manager said yes, just to tip him well. Fast forward to the day-of, my Brooklyn guests said that the driver was so rude to them on the way to LI. To top it off, at the end of the night, I had 25 hotel guests, in addition to my Brooklyn guests, ready to hop on the bus and the driver REFUSED to stop at the hotel, which was 10 minutes from the hall, right off the LIE on the way to Brooklyn. He said it wasn't on his trip sheet and he wouldn't do it unless it was authorized by the company. My parents and I had to plead with him for 20 minutes, and he wouldn't give us his boss's phone number (it was 12:30 a.m.). My parents had to Google different numbers, and finally after about 45 minutes (nearly 1:00 a.m.), the driver finally gave my mom his boss's number so that she could speak to him. It turns out there was a misunderstanding between the company and the driver. Once the driver's boss gave authorization, the driver obliged. It was a pretty cra*py ending to a beautiful night. Only reason I didn't give an F is because it was affordable and he got my guests transported safely.

Hair and Makeup - Bocu Salon, Commack A++
I've been going to Bocu for years. They got me, my mom, my brother's gf, and my four bm done with hair and makeup in three hours. Everyone looked phenomenal.

Bridesmaid Dresses - RK Bridal, A++
No frills program saved me a lot of money and was super easy.
