Venue: Giorgio’s – There are not enough compliments that I could pay to Giorgio’s. From the food, the service, Rob and Melissa, everything was top notch. Everyone that I’ve seen since the wedding continues to tell me how amazing the food and service was and how beautiful the venue was. We got married by the gazebo and did a half indoor/half outdoor cocktail hour. I really wanted to work in some things to represent us including having Chinese food and they went above and beyond. I could write an entire paragraph on Rob and how amazing he is not only as a banquet manager but a friend. I didn’t book with him but was introduced to him through another Giorgio’s bride (thank you AlexandMike2012) and we will be forever indebted to him for making our day perfect. He truly cares about the brides and anytime I had a question or concern he was there to answer it quickly. He also became my therapist in the days leading up to the wedding. Any bride can only hope to have the kind of caring and service that Rob provides. Melissa was our go-to girl that day and was always there with whatever we needed without asking. She is a sweetheart and really makes sure that the bride & groom are taken care of. You are being pulled in so many directions and she makes sure that you eat, drink and enjoy yourself. I feel sorry that future brides won't be able to experience my banquet manager Rob Drago's amazingness because he absolutely made every part of our wedding at Giorgio's.

Photography: Janelle Brooke Photography – Her work speaks for itself and has such a talented team that she works with. DH and I met her and Terrie last March and she spent over 2 hours with us just talking about what she does, the editing process she goes through and how she shoots. We knew we wanted JBP when we walked out of that meeting. Janelle and Terrie are so sweet and so incredibly patient with everything. The engagement shoot was a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and we love how the picture came out. The day of the wedding we had Janelle, Terrie and Cassie there for the day and I cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures. We got to see a slide show that night and everyone who has seen the teasers are blown away. We’ve received so many compliments from our family, bridal party, friends and lots of strangers on how beautiful our pictures came out. They cannot believe how creative the shots were (I was in a wheat field at one point) and how JBP was able to capture so many special moments.

Videographer: AJ Ingoglia – I started watching some of his videos after I got engaged and would find myself sobbing watching random peoples wedding videos. I knew that I wanted him to shoot my wedding. I met AJ with a fellow bride and it was another love at first sight sort of meeting. AJ is the biggest sweetheart and is so great to have around you on the day of. There were a few tense moments that day - I’d turn around and AJ would be singing an 80s song or doing something silly to loosen everybody up. His work is just wow. I have been watching my trailer everyday since he released it and he truly just nailed everything beautifully. From us getting ready to the kids in the bridal party to getting our personalities, it’s just perfect. He’s so ridiculously talented and just a great person.

Coordinators: Cheeky Glam – Heather & Jamie are our girls. We met in a Starbucks and it felt like I was sitting with my friends just talking wedding all night. They were so present and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process that I cannot imagine how I could’ve done this without them. If there were any questions, I always asked Cheeky first and got a quick response back. They were always checking in and would send emails when there was a milestone in the countdown to the wedding. You would never know that they work with more than one bride, that’s how they make you feel. They were great the day of (even if being picked up and twirled by groomsmen) and knew with a look if we needed anything or just wanted help with something. We had a large bridal party including 3 kids and they were great with helping everyone, not just us. What speaks volumes about them is that they don’t just disappear after your day. We had an issue with one of our vendors and they were there every step of the way until we got resolution. Absolutely love these ladies.

Florist: Hidden Essence – Michelle is amazing to work with and she just nailed everything that we wanted and more. We wanted everything to stand out a little but and didn’t want cookie cutter. I had a few ideas in my head and she just took them and ran. She also had an idea for the ceremony to include a willowy arch with sprays of flowers that was just beautiful. The bouquets were just stunning and the centerpieces were perfect. She brought extra flower petals for my flower girls and boutonnieres for the groomsmen knowing that we were doing our reveal before the wedding and it was going to be a warm day. She really works with you and you can trust that her work is going to be spectacular.

Makeup: About Face Artistry – I went to Stacy after being somewhat scarred at another makeup trial. I told her what happened and that’s all she needed to hear. I know I was going to love her when I saw how organized she was. She did my trial and nailed exactly what I wanted without me having to tell her. I was jumping up and down like a little kid. On they big day, she brought De along with her since I had a large party. The two of them together were on fire and every girl in my party looked stunning. Breathtaking stunning but still like themselves. Stacy’s so great to work with and such an artist. I only wish that I could hire her to do my makeup everyday.

Hair: Tara Benish – Another reco from a fellow bride who has been going to her for years. I met her by going to her salon and getting a body wave last summer. Loved it and knew Tara was the girl for the day of. She is so fun to work with and made the day of great for everyone. She made sure that everyone was 100% happy with how their hair came out before moving on to the next girl. She also is realistic with her pricing and makes you appreciate her being so honest. My hair was perfect and I would recommend Tara to any bride.

Officiant: Father David Grainson – Our friends used him a few years ago at their wedding and we remembered liking the ceremony. We gave him a call and scheduled a meeting with him late last summer. He really takes the time to get to know the couple and incorporates that into the ceremony. One of the best memories of the day is him asking DH and I to take a moment during the ceremony to look around and see everyone who is there to celebrate. It was beautiful. Highly, highly recommend him.
