HI LADIES!!!! I missed you!!!!! ADDED SOME PICS...HERE'S MY REVIEW!!!

Ok...Here is my review!!!

Dresses--Bridal Suite in Centereach: A

They were wonderful to deal with. Very nice and accomodating. One problem: My SIL's dress was a 2 piece. Halter top and straight skirt. Before the ceremony, the zipper on the top broke. It kept spliting at the bottom. We kept trying to keep it together, but had to use safety pins to keep her from popping out. It was totally broken by the time the reception came, so she had to wear the vest and jacket from my brother's tux. Other than that, everything else was ok.

Officiant--Reverend Renwick Jackson A+

What a doll. He is the cutest man and was very nice. The ceremony was beautiful. He asked for a moment of silence in memory of my parents. He also said a prayer with me, my hubby and daughter asking for protection and a lifetime bond of family. It was really very special.

DJ--IV Generation A++++++
Frankie and Nick
They are amazing!! Everyone was dancing and having a great time the entire night. I have used them before for family functions and have alway's liked them. They are very professional and also alot of fun. I highly recommend them.

Flowers--Enchanted Dahlia A+

I had posted that I was using James Cress. My GF is friends with a woman who had worked there. She and 2 other woman also from Cress had opened there own business and called me (with permission from my GF) to see if I would use them. They are all very experienced in the flower business and I was extremely happy with my flowers. Jeanne was the woman I did most of my correspondence with. She suggested certain ideas she had, but never pushed me into anything. Her prices were very reasonable and I was able to add 2 huge floor standing sprays because of her pricing. I was very happy when she came in with the flowers....they were more beautiful than I imagined.

Photographer--Jeffrey Studios A+

Dominic was great. He had a great sense of humor and great people skills. He had everyone laughing and enjoying taking the pictures. I can't such much more until I see my proofs, but I don't think I will be dissapointed. He really was a pleasure to work with.

Ceremony and Reception--Medeterranean Manor A+++++++

Amazing!!! They were so wonderful. The Maitre'd and bridal attendant were great. I never had an empty glass...they were there for everything. They made sure everything ran smoothly and it did. The food was amazing...I didn't get to eat to much at the cocktail hour, but I did get to enjoy my dinner. They came out with seconds, which I wasn't aware they were going to do. I was very impressed with the entire night.

I forgot to mention the rehearsal dinner. We had it the Harborside Restaurant. It was great. I surprised my DH with a cake made into a pool table and he loved it. It was such a shame to cut into it. I bought the cake from Create a Cake in Pt. Jeff. The food was great and we had basically the entire restaurant to ourselves. One funny note: The owner of the Harborside was very hands on with our party. We had 18 for dinner...He said he knew the owners of the Med Manor and would love to come and have a drink with us at the reception....long story short, he came in and had a drink with us and the next thing I know, he asks the DJ if he can sing a song to us. He sang it accopella and it was all in Spanish(had to have DH translate). I was shocked. I had thought he was going to give us a GC for dinner or something, never thinking he was going to sing!!! He sounded wonderful and it really was a nice surprise. I think about it and still laugh a little. He is such a nice man.

Some little things:

My daughter was getting dressed and we went to put on her shoes and they were 2 different sizes!! I was fuming, but I can only blame myself....I should have checked them. She toughed it out and was fine until I gave her the ok at the reception to put on her sponge bob slippers!!

The weather was horrible, but I had no control over that. I really wanted some outside shots, but it was a misty rain and very chilly!!! We took 3 pics outside...so I was ok with that!!

I really had the most amazing day of my life!! I took all the advice that the ladies her gave about taking afew minutes to soak it all in...It was so worth it!!! I stayed by my Dh side the entire night and we laughed and danced and just enjoyed every minute!!!

We stayed at the Wydham Windwach Hotel in Hauppauge for the weekend. It was wonderful. We had the immediate family back on Saturday night for dinner. They gave us a private room because the restaurant was reserved for a private party. They really did a great job and the food was very good!!

I surprised my DH with a hummer truck to pick him and the 2 best men up from the Hotel. My BIL video taped it and his face was priceless!! His favorite truck is the Hummer, so I knew he would be so surprised and happy!!!!



Ok....one last thing...I went to the cemetary on Sunday to leave my bouquet for my Mom to have. I wish so much that she and my dad could have been there in person, but I felt them with me in sprirt!!!

And finally...A great big THANK YOU to all of you wonderful ladies. I really couldn't have done it without such great advice and suggestions!! You truly are very special and I am so thankful for finding you all!!!
