My 8/16/03 Wedding Review

Hi all!

I don't post often, but I always thought that these were helpful, so here it goes!

LARKFIELD MANOR A+ A+ A+ A+
Can not say enough wonderful things about this place. If you are having your wedding here, you have NOTHING to worry about. They did an AMAZING job, everything was perfect!!!!! The food was completely unbelievable, the service was top of the line, and the place wa beautiful!!!!

MAKEUP - JACQUILINE NICOLE A+ A+ A+ A+
This girl is the best! I got so many compliments on my makeup, and she was super sweet and accomidating, she even sqeezed my cousin in!

HAIR - THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS (in Nesconset) - A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+
I LOVED my hair! Lisa (the owner) did it. I wanted something different, and she worked hard to do exactly what I wanted - it was perfect!

FLOWERS BY ROSEMARIE: A+ A+ A+ A+ A+
Again, I can't say enough wonderful things about Rosemarie and her work. She was helpful, honest, prompt, and best of all, since she works out of her home, she charges really reasonable prices!

REHEARSAL DINNER - HOLIDAY INN, RONKONKOMA: A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+
If anyone is looking to have a rehearsal dinner THIS IS THE PLACE TO HAVE IT!!!!. They actually have a rehearsal dinner package which includes beer, wine, and soda. These people did an incredible job. I am still getting compliments. We had our own private room, they put centerpieces on all of the tables, and the food and the service were GREAT!

PHOTOGRAPHER: A+
Liked working with them (especially the videographer), but have not seen any pics yet, so this will be followed up!

M&V Limos: D
I was very disappointed with this vendor. While I enjoyed working with them prior to the wedding, their performance on the wedding day was very, VERY poor. I do not want to write any more details, but if anyone would like more info, just FM me.

VIP TUXES: D
Many, many problems with them. We rented 13 tuxes from them and there was a problem with EVERY ONE. Again, if anyone would like more info, just FM me.

HONEYMOON - 6 DAYS SANDALS HALCYON (in St. Lucia) and 6 DAYS SANDALS GRANDE ST. LUCIAN:
A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+
I would highly recommend both of these resorts. The food, service, and accomidations were out if this world. If anyone would like more info, just let me know!!!

Glad you had a nice day. I live in Nesconset and used to go to Lisa to have my hair cut years back at her salon.

Great review..sorry about teh tuxes..but it sounds like everything else wwas GREAT! Congrats!! I cants ee the picture..can you make it bigger..it looks so nice!!!!

Congrats!!!! I plan on going to St Lucia... which sandals resort did you enjoy more? and did you go to the Golf and Spa resort?

Congratulations!! Happy to hear you had such a beautiful day!

I second the Halcyon/St Lucia - FH & I vacationed there about 5 years ago and had a fabulous time.

(Sorry to hear about the limo and tuxes...)

Congrats!!! I am going to the Grande St. lucia in 41 more days!!!! Can you tell me what to pack and what places to eat were good (or where not to go)? Also did you do any tours? Any info would be great!! Congrats again!!
