My wedding May 14th Vineyard caterers, Thomas Paul, Tommy Tunes, Sharing Beautiful memories, *********** florist etc

Today I have been married a month and I still catch myself going on the 2011 board and reading the posts like I am still planning my wedding! This site has helped me in so many ways and I cannot thank everyone enough for all their help so here is my review hoping to help someone as well.

The Vineyards (Vineyard Cateres when I booked them): A+++++++
OMG the amount of food was crazy!!! The best part was that every single thing tasted phenomenal! The service was amazing. Everyone was very professional and kind. Bill was harrassed by me for the past year and a half and always responded immediately to all my emails and accommdated me in every way possible. Day of Johnny made sure all my guests were happy and that we got everything we wanted. The Vineyards made my wedding truly special! I cannot praise them enough. If i ever throw a huge party I will definitely have it there! Just Amazing!

Tommy Tunes: A+++++
We had booked with Joe E and he was amazing! He kept the music playing that guests were enjoying and best of all he ignored my father in laws requests and made sure to ask me first!!! And I must say boy oh boy can Joe E dance! I highly reccommend booking them and using Joe E he is so personable! Also we booked their country singer and he was fantastic! My husband likes country and I didn't want it played at the wedding so he got the whole cocktail hr! He loved the singer. He came in a suit wearing a cowboy hat and boots and played his guitar. He knew all the current country songs and everyone seemed to love him even the non country fans.

Thomas Paul Photography: A -
We just got our photos and they looked beautiful! Tom is a fantastic photographer he thinks outside of the box and gets amazing shots! My negative remark has to do with the assistant he had that day I believe his name was Tony. Tony grabbed my wrist at one point and made me uncomfortable and he also at one point of the night got in an argument with a guest. In some pics he took I had my sister's head cut off by my cousin and he just didnt position people properly. To say the least I wasn't fond of him. BUT Tom is amazing and I know his normal assistant is Brian who I was supposed to have but was switched at the last moment.

Sharing Beautiful Memories: A
Kelly was booked as my DOC and Marie was her assistant. Both ladies were very professional and helped out extremely! Marie made sure all the vendors set up at the church and at vineyards. There was an issue with my florist and she fixed it so I would not even know! Kelly was with me every step of the way. She had a trusty handbag that came in handy with tooth brushes and tooth paste, safety pins, bleech pens etc you get the point. When i got dizzy she was right next to me with water to make sure I was alright. She really went up and beyond what I expected from her. She responds to all emails immediately and since she was recently married I could run all my ideas through her and she gave great feedback! She lives in NJ and I am out east on the island and I had no problem at all communicating with her and when we did meet she came out to the island. I highly reccommend using them. Things go wrong on the day of your wedding but having someone else deal with them and not finding out till after the wedding is really an amazing thing! I thank these ladies so much for keeping the drama away from me so I could truly enjoy every moment of my wedding! Also they did our menu, program and Card box for the wedding. I will attach pics. I was having difficulties attaching pics but they are in my album for my wedding. Sorry ladies

J@ck & Rose Florist: B+
This vendor had alot of negative comments about them and they were alittle difficult to deal with but I must say my flowers looked great! They were the cheapest we found by ALOT and I got exactly what I thought I was getting when it came to the centerpieces and all the bouquets. The negative remarks I have about them is they forgot to scatter rose petals around like on our dais table and the seating card table, cake table, serving dishes, etc. and my DOC had to take care of it. That was the issue I did not find out till later. Its a small step to take that makes a HUGE difference. Also they would not communicate with my DOC at all! I find that to be very unprofessional. I'm paying my DOC to communicate on my behalf they should talk to them. The times that were scheduled for the flower dropoffs were done earlier than expected so there was no one at vineyards yet to go over eveything they were dropping off bc they did it hours early and they probably did it b/c they knew they would have to go over the contract with my DOC. But overall the flowers were nice just dealing with them was a problem.

Create-A-Cake: A+++++
Vineyards uses them for the wedding cake and when we went there to taste everything tasted great but one stood out...RAINBOW COOKIE CAKE!!! ahhhh it was soooooo good! The cake tasted amazing and all our guests loved it!

Audreys bakery: A
I used them for the grooms cake. They made a 3d xbox cake and it looked amazing! The only reason it wasnt an A+ is bc it was pretty pricey and the fondant was so gross but they said they had to use fondant for the cake bc it wouldn't look good with buttercream. The cake itself was really good we had a vanilla chocolate chip cake and oreo mousse filling. Very yummy!

Kelly From Glam me Up: A-
She is the sweetest person in the world! Her specialty seems to be eyes...she really makes them pop. My only negative is she seemed to put too much foundation on my face so it made me oily fast. She did my whole bridal parties make up as well and they all looked amazing. She ruined my Future Mrs. Dreyer jumpsuit...not on purpose...but she dropped makeup on it and I took it to the dry cleaners but they couldnt even get it out! It must be powerful stuff! Overall she was great!

Kacey From Khouloud's: A
She did my hair amazing!!!! I loved it! She put my hair flower in perfectly and same with the veil. My only negative which isnt really all her fault is that my flower girls hair curls came out really really fast. I do not know if it was bc she was rushed or if they pulled them out but before we even got to the church they were out.

My best advice is to enjoy the day...every moment! It really does go so fast!
