Review of my 4-24-04 wedding at The Meadow Club

Gown- Patchouge Paradisebridal I had no major problems with them. I purchased my gown through them. My bridesmaids also purchased their dresses through them. They were very helpful. My sister lives out of the country and she could only get to the fittings 6 days before the wedding. The seamstress was very good and she had the dress ready by the Thurs. morning before the wedding.

Weather- I must thank mother nature! We had a beautiful day. I was so scared that it was going to rain. It was a little windy but I'm not complaining!

Hair- Vincent Bruce salon Dix Hills Maria did my hair at 8 am.She was so sweet. My 2 sisters also had their hair done at 8:30 by Gina and Cathy. My mom had her hair done by Maria also. My MIL had her hair done by Cathy. Our hair stayed up all night. My hair didn't feel like it was plastered on. We all got so many compliments all night.They all were excellent!

Makeup JN Jackie was so great! She came to my house a little early which was great. She did my 3 sisters, my mom and me. We were all done on time and we all looked great! We got so many compliments all night on how natural our makeup looked

Church Saint Joseph's Kings Park Father Joe Davanzo was our priest he did a great job. He really made us feel at ease while we were standing at the alter with all of those eyes on us!

M&V limos- I really can tell the brides that are using them not to worry. There were a few things that bothered us nothing major. We wanted the Escalade for the bridal party and they 'upgraded us' to the Hummer which was not really what I wanted. The drivers seemed to be rushing us a lot and we didn't like that too much. We had them booked out for 4 and a 1/4 hours and the drivers were trying to talk us out of taking pictures at Sunken Meadow ( which is 5 mins. from Kings Park) Any brides have questions feel free to fm me.

Flowers- Burtons They were excellent! I had a picture as to what I wanted for the centerpieces and for the boo-k's. I got exactly what I wanted.

Patken- photo Frankie 'bones' words cannot say how great he was the whole day! I highly recommend him! He took so many pics that we can't wait to go through them all! He was so patient with my family and FH's family.
Patken Video- I feel so bad we don't rember the names of the video guys but they were excellent also!

Patken- Video Geno (sp) and his assistant were great!

Absolute Entertainment- They were great! People that never dance ( Including DH ) were dancing all night! Including my boss!! The music was awesome! So many people commented to us that the music was great all night and that they had so much fun! They gave us great giveaways. I highly recommend
Kevin and his crew they were excellent!

The Meadow Club- They were so great the bridal party showed up a lot earlier than what we told them ( we had said 5:30)( due to M& V they were there a lot earlier) The Meadow club was great! They had the bridal party in the bridal suite with beverages and food right away! The bridal attendant Lisa was so helpful we had taken pics at the beach and my dress was a mess. She cleaned the whole dress back of my dress as best she could. As soon as we walked in she was right there to help me with a drink and food. she was a sweetheart!
We were able to attend the cocktail hour and the food was great! Joe and I really didn't eat too much dinner. ( we were too excited ) Everyone has told us that the food was awesome and that the Vienesse hour was great. The one thing tht we really liked the most is that all the food that was leftover form the Vienesse hour and from the cocktail hour was wrapped up and our parents were able to take it home. ( Our parents froze some pastries and cake for us and we were able to eat it when we got home from our HM!) We have gotten so many compliments on our cake. The rolling pin bakery did a wonderful job.

Honeymoon- Norwegian Dawn Cruise It was for 7 days and left out of NY. It was Great! we ate so much great food! The freestyle dining is a great idea. There is no set time when we wanted to eat, we ate!
It rained in Port Canavaral and Miami but in the Bahamas it was beautiful.We went snorkeling while we were docked at the private island we had a blast. We are already talking about going on a cruise next year!

We had a great time at the wedding. From a guests standpoint, everything looked like it was running smoothly. The food was terrific! Can't wait to see more peekshures!!
