Matt and I would like to give a BIG Thank You to Ron, Kim and Liz for choosing us to be the Bride and Groom for The Wedding of the Year 2012. We had so much fun and it was definitely an experience we will never forget.

Ceremony and Reception Location – Chateau La Mer
This place is beautiful! It is located right on the water and has stunning views from the cocktail and reception room. The staff was so attentive. They were always ready to get me anything I needed, like another drink! ? They made me feel so comfortable and seemed to make the guest feel welcomed.

I snuck into the cocktail hour and was so overwhelmed with the amount of food! They had everything that you could imagine! I tried to sample as much as possible; everything tasted delicious!

For dinner, Matt and I were presented with a platter with all the dinner choices! All of the dinner options were delish and we were stuffed!

Overall, Chateau La Mer is beautiful! The staff will make your day special!

Band – Pink Noise Band
I love having a live band at a wedding! They sounded great and had so much energy! Pink Noise Band can play a variety of music, which I also liked.

DJ – After Hours DJ Entertainment
Brought so much energy and excitement! They definitely had the crowd going from the minute they started to the very end. The dance floor was always packed and they played the BEST songs!

Photographer – Lexi-Bella Photography
Maria & Robert were wonderful! They are very professional and seemed to love what they do. It was a pleasure working with them.

We LOVED the setting that they picked for our engagement session. On the property, there was an old cabin that I thought looked great in the pictures! We also took pictures in an ivy field.

I was amazed when they posted the pictures from TWOTY. They look incredible!!! Every single photo is gorgeous! Not only are Maria and Rob very talented, they were super sweet people!

Videographer – Fade To Black New York
Gil asked Matt and I to meet with him prior to the wedding. He asked each of us questions about each other and used the recording to play over our wedding trailer. I absolutely loved that idea and thought it was such a personal touch. When we recorded, Gil made us do it separately so the trailer was the first time we heard what we each had said. I think Gil really took the time to try and make it personalized for us, which I appreciated. I love the way he recorded and put together the trailer! I can watch it over and over. It’s such a great recap of the day!

DOC – A Modern Day Affair
Very sweet ladies! They were so helpful in every aspect of the wedding day. They always made sure we had everything we needed, yet they were not obtrusive.

Bridal Gown and Bridal Party Dresses – Fantasia Bridal
I love the staff here! They really listened to the type of styles that I was comfortable with and picked out gorgeous dresses that would fit my body type. It was so much fun trying on dresses! The two dresses that we picked were Gorgeous!!! And so different from each other. The first dress was a big, GOLD ball gown! The details on it were stunning! The second dress was a simple, ivory dress and the staff dressed it up by adding a sparkly sash.
Alterations was amazing and they made both dresses fit like a glove!

The bridal party got to choose their own dresses and both chose a different design. Fantasia Bridal has so many dresses to choose from, it was hard narrowing it down!

Custom Jewelry & Hairpiece/Hairpins for the Bride and Bridal Party – Thomas Knoell Designs
Beautiful!!! These pieces were absolutely stunning! They picked out the jewelry based on pictures of our dresses. I thought they were the perfect accessories and I loved that I got to wear two different looks!

Shoes for Bride and Bridal Party – Sandy’s Shoes
They were so helpful in assisting me pick out shoes! I told them my style and they nailed it! And allowed us to keep them!

Limo for Bride and Groom – Camelot Specialty Limo
Camelot provided a car to take us from the reception hall to the hotel. The car was on time and clean. The driver was very nice!

All the florists that participated in this year’s TWOTY really out did themselves! They showcased the most unique and beautiful centerpieces!

The wedding cake was beautiful! It had a fall theme. It looked too pretty to cute up and eat! But I’m glad we did, because it was so yummy!

Edible favors are awesome! It is definitely a favor that you know your guests will use! It’s nice giving your guests a little treat they can have later or on the drive home!

Nicole did an amazing job! I totally trusted her to do what ever she wanted with my hair. She did two totally separate styles and I love them both!

Makeup – Fresh Face Forward

I thought our make up looked flawless! And it lasted all night. They made Lizzie, Lana and I feel beautiful! I thought the make up looked great in person as well as in the pictures.

Music for the Ceremony – The Capriccio Ensemble
I am a big fan of live musicians for the ceremony; I think it sets a romantic tone. We corresponded back and forth to pick out the perfect songs for the ceremony. They were quick to respond to my emails and offered some suggestions for different songs. I can still remember listening to the song as I walked down the aisle!

Invitations – Jessica Leigh Paperie
When I got the invitation in the mail, I was so excited to open it! I was amazed at how unique and elegant it looked. Going with the fall theme, they had twine holding the paper leaf, heart and paper together.

Officiant – Angela Heil Ministries
She was such a great vendor, I loved working with Angela! She first contacted us by email and asked if we would fill out a personal questionnaire. She wanted to get to know us better to be able to personalize our ceremony. The day of the ceremony, she was so friendly and personable. She incorporating a tree ceremony, which I thought was a unique idea.

Photobooth – Incredibooths!
The photobooth is such a fun part of the wedding! All the guests enjoyed taking funny pictures of themselves as well. We got a postcard printout of our pictures, which I still keep on my refrigerator!

Weddings Programs & Menus – MagnetStreet
These were such great touches to the wedding! It’s nice to have the guest be able to look at the program during the ceremony and choose their dinner off of a menu.

Weddings Tuxedos for Bridal Party and Ron – Feldman Esquire Tuxedo
The staff was very friendly and made this experience very easy. The boys went for their fitting and there tuxes were in great condition the day of the wedding. All the boys looked handsome!

Cocktail Hour Music – Classical and Flamenco
They provided beautiful music for the cocktail hour. I thinking having live musicians add a nice touch. The music was perfect, not too loud, and just relaxing enough.

Guitarist Vito Genna
Again, beautiful music and it was a nice addition.

Hotel Room for TWOTY Bride and Groom – Holiday Inn Plainview
The hotel is conveniently location right off of the Long Island Expressway. The room was clean and neat. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, which would be convenient for guests.
