Your wedding cake was beautiful - I'm getting married at VC in Oct, did you use the cake they include or did you order it from somewhere/someone else?

I hope you are still reading replies! My wedding is next year and I also want to get the Angelina dress but not sure whether to get it in white or diamond white. What colour was yours?

Hi there! I'm sorry, its been a while since i checked here :)

I believe it was in white. not the diamond white.

I loved the dress - i received sooo many compliments! I bought it at Lidia's in Copaigue. they were great there.

I brought in a picture of the cake, and they made it up. So yes, its their cake - but they can do whatever you want (within reason, of course).

They are great there! Just speak to you BM as to your ideas, so they can give you specific feedback. Congrats on your wedding!

Thanks for getting back. I am ordering my dress this Friday (I am in the UK), but i felt it was a bit of a gamble ordering it in white before I had seen it in white. It is so hard to find pictures of the dress. I was worried that the diamontes might stand out too much on the white.(I have only seen the dress in diamond white)
Anyway, thanks for your help!

Sorry, one more question. Did you have guest stay at the Best Western out there? We are, and I just saw a thread on here comparing the BW to the Hampton Inn, which is about 40 mins away - most of the reviews of the BW were awful and it sortof scared me, since it seemed perfectly ok the few times we've been out there to visit. If you had any guests staying there (or if you did), I was just wondering you had any kind of feedback on it? Thanks!

No problem! We had guest stay there - mainly b/c everything started at 11am. If I were having a wedding later in the day, i would have totally recommended the Hampton (i've even stayed there a couple of times and liked it). I heard conflicting things, but for my guests it was more important being close to the VC the night before. Its probably fine, but probably overpriced for what you get. But for my guests (only maybe 5 got a room), the convenience factor won out.

If you stop by the hotel (they are nice there, the people i've met), i'm sure they'll bring you up and show you a room so you can get a good idea!
