Congratulations! I can't wait to see your proofs. As you may recall, the same thing happened to me with Lynn, but Mark filled in and it all worked out. I'm sure you're pictures are beautiful.

Re: I'm back and ready to rate my vendors (super long- did you expect anything less?)
So glad you liked Christine from Liberty! She was amazing to deal withSorry about the cake - mine wasn't what I requested either, and I was more mad about spending the extra $$$, but it wasn't too important to me - at least your bigger vendors were great - like the band, hall, etc.
CONGRATULATIONS Mrs. Michele!

Re: I'm back and ready to rate my vendors (super long- did you expect anything less?)
I cannot believe Alba's wasnt ready on time. I will call them. I ordered the stuff 3 weeks prior! No excuse for that. The reason that some of my vendors earned B's and not A's is that a C is average. A or A+ is above my expectations. I expected Janet to do a good job and she charges plenty for her experience. She did a wonderful job. I just think that an A is going above my expectations. The soloist did not charge me a ton, spent a lot of time helping me chose songs and learned a new song for me. That is why she earned an A- does that make sense?
Thanks for all the good wishes. I will scan some proofs this weekend. My flowers are all dried (thanks to my little sister) and I still love them. I used snowberries, stephanotis (which doesn't dry) and 3 shades of purple roses. The bouquet was really beautiful. My Mom's coursage, however, is my favorite piece from Burtons. Wait till I post a photo. It was a purse coursage, not wrist. It was attached to her purse and was leonardis roses (spelled all wrong) and delphinium orchaids. Her purse was choclate brown. For anyone whose Mom doesn't like a coursage but wants flowers this is a really nice way to go.

Re: I'm back and ready to rate my vendors (super long- did you expect anything less?)
Michele -As soon as you can, please post a pic of your bouquet. I am going with lavender roses as well, along with stephanotis and pine cones, and am wondering if I should go with different shades of lavender too (I'm dying to know what sterling roses look like)...
Also, are snow berries white??
Thanks! (As you know I'm using Burton's too.)...
Congrats again!

Congratulations Michele!!!I'm terribly sorry to hear your expierence of planning your wedding w/ Denise was less than pleasant and fun! She is cetainly in the wrong business.
Please post pictures! Can't wait to see them. I'm a Mark Kauffman gal as well. I won't have Mark at the wedding (as I see you didn't plan on that either) but I'm sure they'll be beautiful! I want to see pictures of you and your new hubby-we all do!!!, not just b/c it's MK.

Michele it sounds like everything went great at your wedding. Your honeymoon sounds awesome. I was just wondering since you used Burton's and I'm also using them, did you use their FG basket or did you buy your own?

Proofs are in and WOW! I am very, very happy. We are still waiting for our high speed b&w photos since those take a bit longer to develop but I have about 1600 proofs to go through. I will be scanning tomorrow to show some off. And I promise to post a few bouquet and centerpiece shots for you too.
