can you post a picture of your cake??

I don't have a scanner to post a pic right now but the cake was beautiful. I actually had a carrot cake with cream cheese filling and they told me it might not be as smooth but it looked awesome. It also tasted incredible. Although the only bite I had was when DH and I fed eachother, everyone raved about it.

besides flowers, was it decorated in any other way? or was the icing smooth?

The icing was smooth and there were very little white flowers (you know made with the icing) around the edges. I had a circular stacked cake. It was a normal looking circular stacked cake. It was totally smooth. I wouldn't say it was breathtaking or anything extraordinary but it was a nice looking cake. Eventually I should get the pic of the cake on snapfish and I'll try to post it.

congrats!!! so glad to hear about the nrc!! i love your cake!!!!! that is what i had in mind-the smooth icing--i haven't been thrilled with the cakes i've seen them do--that is my favorite-it's perfect! yeah!! thanks for posting it! good job

I'm glad everyone liked the cake... most importantly, it was really, really yummy. I highly recommend their carrot cake... everyone was saying it was the best one they've ever had.
