I'm a longtime lurker & one of Dawnie's BMs(it's the only way I could keep up with my darling Dawnie's wedding plans -- I'm a wedding moron

). I felt the need to finally create a profile to comment on THE MOST SPECTACUALR WEDDING I have ever had the pleasure to attend.
First of all, Dawnie paid for both my hair and makeup for my Christmas/B-Day gift. Thanks D & THANK GOD FOR JACQUELINE NICOLE!!!!!! I had not slept for a day and a half (at least), and had been in hysterics for the better part of Sunday. Jacqueline transformed me from a red eyed, greasy freak into someone I was thrilled to view in the mirror! Elena did my hair which also was wonderful (I used an extension). It did not move AT ALL & I have extremely thin hair. Kudos to both.
The limo was roomy and had two entrances so no one was trampled upon. Definitely a good pick. The flowers (Burtons) were gorgeous and abundant -- my bouquet is still alive!!!!
I don't even know how to explain the magnificence of Flowerfield... The presentation of the food was both elegant and creative. However, they didn't win me over by appearance alone! Everything was delicious. I was served the vegetarian meal which rivaled ones I've had in the premiere restaurants of NYC (&Ieat out a lot). The servers were attentive and friendly. When they became aware of my veggie status, they actually found me on the dance floor to make sure I could have the ravioli for the first course! Totally unexpected.
The wedding gown was beautiful, but what made it truly spectacular was the gorgeous, poised, glowing woman inside. Dawnie, you were a vision. The groom was his relaxed, charming, funny self and it was truly infectious.
They could not keep their eyes off of each other and those of us who witnessed the event could not take our eyes off of them. The only complaint of the evening was that the night couldn't last forever. Next stop:
