Platters for favors

Do you think its too much to give a platter as a favor? I wanted to give something practical. I added a pic. What do you think?

What kind of platter? Do you have a picture? But I agree, I think a more practical favor is better.

i don't know how i'd use that...it'd probably sit in a drawer or cabinet.
