MMMMMMM Dominican cake!!!! I live in Queens but not sure where you can get one. I grew up in Jackson heights and there were some great little dominican spots I used to eat at. Dont remember though sorry!I bet there are some great places in the Bronx by Grand Concourse. Thats where my whole Dominican family lives and its mainly Dominican!

If Ramonita's is the one next to Popeye's chicken...(around 167th and Hillside) then stay away...they are way too dry....Try Angela's in Knickerbocker Ave. Brooklyn. They are awsome. I am having tres leches for my wedding from there.....
I think its 760 Knickerbocker....

OMG I LOVE TRES LECHES!!!
I have to say if you want a good dominican cake you should try going to the Heights (Washington Heights that is :) I got a cake for FH 30th birthday and bought the most amazing cake at a bakery running out of someone's living room...it was the best dominican cake I ever had :)
But I would agree also that you could find some good bakeries in Corona and Jackson Heights if you want to stay local...check out the bakeries and buy slices to find which one you like best.
Good luck!!
