My mom deserves to win a dress because she is so selfless and always puts others before herself. She has numerous medical issues which makes it hard for her to move around at times but she still manages to work extra hours just to be able to give me and my sister money to help pay for our weddings. She is the most loving, caring mother and her winning a dress would be an amazing gift for an amazing woman.

When My Fiance and I first got engaged (Nov 2012), we knew we had to plan the Wedding for 2014, since there was no way to afford it before then (Neither of us come from well off families and it was all on us to fund our wedding). We would need to save up and budget ourselves tightly just to get by and still save. We have been doing a very good job of it, and have successfully saved up for and booked our Hall, DJ, and Photographer. When I shared this great news with my Mom, that we had already saved up so much, she said 'see you didn't have to make the wedding so far away!' I let her know it was the only way we could afford it, and I still have more to save up for. Her response was 'Well it seems to me all you need is a Dress now, and I'm getting that for you!' I was so shocked, this was out of no where, and in no way did I think my mom had the funds to offer this to me. But it means the world, not only that she saved and secretly planned this for me, but that it is taking a big stress off of my shoulders. I am so fortunate that she is paying for my dress, a simple thing that most brides probably take for granted, but for us, in our family I just know how big of a deal it is for her to save up this money and be able to contribute.But I also know that because of this purchase, she will likely be skimping on herself when it come time for my big day. So winning this dress, for her, would be a way I can show her my appreciation, and know that she can get the dress she deserves, since she is allowing me to get the dress of my dreams.

My mother is not only my mother but my best friend. My father passed away when I was 3 and it has been just her and I for the past 33 years. She has been my rock while planning my wedding and in the past 3 months I've been going through some medical issues myself, my mother has never once left my side and has always been there for anything I needed. She raised me alone while working full time and even went back and got her masters degree when I was in elementary school. We don't have a lot, but what we have she has always made sure my needs were met. It would so wonderful for her to be able to have her dream dress for my wedding...

My mom deserves this dress because she is always sacrificing her own time and needs for me and my siblings. My sister and her husband live in North Carolina and had just started living there when she became unexpectedly pregnant with twins, my mom retired and bought a house down there with my father so that my sister wouldn't have to pay for daycare for two (which she couldn't afford) and she could watch my nephews which she did until they were 3. Dividing her time between here with me and there with my sister and her grandchildren has been so hard on my mother especially now with the wedding coming up. She always worries she's missing something or hurting one of us. But the truth is she's amazing and I'm just happy if she's happy which is why I want to win this for her. We talk every day, there's nothing I can't tell her and when I have happy news or sad news I call her as soon as possible because happy news isn't really real until I share it with her and I'm not really comforted if there's sad news until I've heard her voice. I've always been shy and had a difficult time making friends but my mom was always there and so I always knew that I had somebody on my side. She's been amazing with my wedding, having saved up money along with my father to pay for our wedding and even when I feel like there's something I should be paying for she's quick to say that she's wants to do it, again always doing for us. I love sharing everything about this wedding with her and she never tries to influence my decisions, she just wants my happiness. She's one of the few people I know that when she says she just wants you to be happy, she actually means it. I'd love to win this for her to give her something for her, something that's not for me or my sister or her grandchildren or my father. On my wedding day I want her to feel as beautiful as she actually is inside and out and I hope this would help with that.

My mother deserves to win the dress because she is amazing. My father passed away at the age of 35, leaving my mother to raise four children aged 15,14,9 and 8(me) all by herself. She basically put her life on hold to raise her children and did a fantastic job. She didn't even start dating until was 20. Now I try to make it about her. She's lost 90 pounds and I'd love to help her pick out a fantastic dress since she will be walking me down the aisle.

My mommy deserves to win this dress because she gives so much of herself to everyone else and always puts herself on the backburner. She is the primary caretaker of my grandmother (her mother) who is 93 and suffers from full blown dementia it is very hard on her but she said that she could never ever put her mother in a home she says my mother took care of me now it is my turn and she also is a full time caretaker of my father who is disabled. She never ever has time for herself or buys herself anything new. This would be the best mother’s day gift ever to her because I want her to sparkle, feel good and look amazing the day of my wedding. I want her to feel like the princess the day of my wedding. I would rather her have a nice dress than myself.

She struggled for so long by herself, and at such a young age was able to become a grown up and do what she had to... She gave me the most amazing life! She has always been there for my brother and I (and trust me, we've needed her support a LOT), but not only for us, but for strangers. She works as a social worker for a hospice, and helps people with terminal illnesses every day. She is so strong, and has showed me what it is to be a strong, independent woman. If I am half the woman that she is when I get older, I will count myself very lucky.

My mother deserves a dress because she suffers from crohns and is in and out of the doctors/hospital all the time and has been out of work on disability due to her back problems. She never gets anything for herself because she is too busy helping everyone else. She deserves to look beautiful on my wedding and being able to give her a dress would mean so much because I know shed be more concerned getting the cheapest thing she can find.

For my entire life (literally) my mother has always put our family first. She stayed home from work to raise me and my sister. Now that we're grown, she went back to work at an Early Childhood Center as a teacher and on the weekends, takes care of some of our older relatives. She won't even take a vacation in case someone needs her. I can't remember the last time she spent a dime on herself. I know she'll choose a dress based on budget. She is the most selfless person I know and has worked hard to set that example for me. I'll never be able to repay her for everything she's done for me, but being able to give back to her by making sure she feels beautiful on the day of my wedding would mean the world to me!

My mother deserves this because she is a very strong woman. She has survived through breast cancer about 15 yrs ago, the doctors had told her she wouldn't live but she said she felt she needed to survive to be there for me. I am disabled and she has gone out of her way to help and support me. She has driven out of state to support groups and bringing me to special classes while working full time. Additionally, I always liked to play sports and she would get up at dawn to bring me to practice and sit through my games. I played on 2 travel teams and she had to drive me all over the tri-state area to get to my games and meets. She has always been supportive of me in everything I have wanted to do, school, sports and other hobbies (taking me to art class and picking me up from drama club).

My mom had her first child at 20, her then husband left her with nothing and she had no help from her parents. Over the years, she (with the help of my father) put herself through college, then got her master's degree while raising 5 girls. She is a thyroid cancer surviver, and has helped myself and my sisters through so many things, including divorce, alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders, and cancer. Not only has she been an amazing mother to us, she helps take care of her 10 grandchildren, and is active in the church and numerous charities. She would give the shirt off her back to someone in need. Most importantly, she is the glue that holds our family together...going above and beyond every single day to keep us together, healthy and happy. I know i'm a good person and i owe a lot of that to her for instilling positivity, motivation and confidence in me. She has consistently encouraged me to follow my dreams and always do what's right.

My mom deserves this dress because she has been taking care of her FOUR children for years, and spending all of the money she could have spent on herself, on us. I am the youngest of the four of us, and she can't wait FINALLY get me out of the house! It has been 32 years now that my mom has had children in the house and I am the last one left. This year, when I leave, she will finally be free from taking care of us! Giving her this free dress would make for the perfect Mother's Day gift. It is just my way, and also my 3 siblings ways, of letting my mom know how much we really appreciated her taking care of us all of these years.

My Mom is an amazing woman. She has supported me when times were rough and celebrated with me when times were great. She has been an extraordinary grandmother to my child. Shopping for a dress for my Mom has been a interesting task as she is a plus size woman. We've tried to find something that gives her confidence and comfort but is equally stunning, but we're beginning to think that doesn't exist. I believe an experience like 'winning' a dress might not only create a preconceived feeling of success, but it may ease her mind as most plus sized dresses are automatically priced higher. My mom deserves this to be a happy experience and all in all, she plain rocks!

My father passed away suddenly when I was only six. My mom quickly picked up the pieces, gained strength from within and has put my younger brother and I before her own needs for twenty-four years now. Not only has she been an extraordinary single mother, she has also beat breast cancer and has been in remission for thirteen years. Needless to say, my mom truly deserves this dress. She has been waiting for the day to see her only daughter walk down the aisle. She deserves to look as radiant as I will on my wedding day. She has faced many hardships and has literally fought for her life to be next to me on that day as my mother and as my father.
