Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Question for all of you:Does anyone know if the Fox Hollow would give me anything in exchange for NOT having dessert? I have been thinking about this, and I think cake, dessert AND the viennese trays on the tables is too much dessert. It's unnecessary. I am thinking about asking them to ditch the dessert (semifreddo, belgian waffle, whatever we pick) and to give me something in return - but I don't know what I would want yet. Maybe an upgraded appetizer? (I am also thinking about going with the combo app. since I want more time to parrrr-ty later.)
TIA!

To be honest...probably not. I didn't take the cake that is included in the pp price because I went with cakes by jay and they wouldn't give me anything in return for it. It can't hurt to ask, but don't be surprised if they say no!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
They told me if I went with a cake on my own then they would give me something else in place of the cake, he mentioned an ice sculpture.I also asked if I didn't get the wine on the tables could I get something else and they said no, not sure if it would be the same for the dessert. I think all three dessert options make a nice presentation. People get wooed by that stuff, but that's my own opinion.
As everyone else is saying it doesn't hurt to ask since it seems that the Fox Hollow is giving everyone different answers on certain things.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Thanks ladies. I have a feeling the answer'd be no, or 'yeah, we'll give you an ice sculpture.' I don't want an ice sculpture though. I have no need for that. I will ask when the time comes, I guess - which for me is not until September! It seems that Jenn is the nicest person to deal with there, so I will wait until I meet with her (or the other girl who does the same thing - Lindsay, is it?)

ya they didn't give me anything either. They said they would give me a credit and then they said they wouldn't- this was all in one sitting too! Like as soon as I wanted it in writing they didn't know what I was talking about.

Grrrrr. I totally don't want it or need it!!!! Who needs three desserts??? Cake, viennese tray AND a belgian waffle? After alllll the other food? I guess I will just ask them to hand it out fast. I feel like no one will eat it since they will be up dancin with me!!!!!

I just e-mailed jenn. She said they would allow 8 at the oblong tables but no less or people start to look lost.
Sooooo, I'm assuming they will let you seat 8 at the round ones too.
