does anyone know off-hand if fox hollow allows 8 at the oblong tables??
i have an incredibly annoying table situation.![]()
me too! but i need to know if they allow 8 at the round. . .
I just e-mailed jenn. She said they would allow 8 at the oblong tables but no less or people start to look lost.
Sooooo, I'm assuming they will let you seat 8 at the round ones too.Hope this helped!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Just got off the phone with Eric to give my final number. YEAH!!! I've been dropping off payments almost everytime I was out in that direction, so the final balance due isn't even that scary.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
one thing on the final payment - if you are getting married there.I didn't realize this and was a little unpleasantly surprised - they charge you the 20% service charge and tax on the charge to have your ceremony there. Not the end of the world, but I def didn't have that budgeted originally, I feel like they weren't very upfront with that. I assumed the cost for the ceremony was the total cost, maybe plus tax.

That DOES S U C K!!!!!! So it's 20% serv charge and 8.625% tax on the $750? Grrrrrr.

$965 huh? That's a far cry from $750. I'm not very happy right now.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
I was under the impression that the 20% and tax is on the total cost of the reception and ceremony put together, once you add up the total cost of everything. But it's separate??? Has anyone gotten a definitive answer? TIA!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
I just got my final balance and my math matches up to ceremony + officant fees + reception then tax and sevice fee. Hopefully that helps.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Ok, I'm looking at my contract regarding tax and service charge on ceremony fees. Here's what it is:
Reception + chapel fee - have a 20% service charge
Reception + chapel + service - have a 8.625% tax
Total = reception + chapel + service + tax + officant cost
So the chapel does cost close to a grand, but considering church donations these day and ages it isn't too bad IMO. Plus we get decorations too.

Ladies who already got married...
Show me your FOX HOLLOW provided cake! Please!I have a meeting with Jen at 6 to discuss my options.
Thank you!!
here are some shots of the Fox Hollow cake: Whipped Cream topping, chocolate cake with canoli cream - deeeelish!!!!
mmmm that looks delicious. Thank you for posting!
We got canoli filing and whipped cream icing with a yellow cake. we haven't decided on the OUTSIDE of it yet though.
We were told to go talk to the bakery directly b/c they want to make sure we get what we want. Jen and Frank (have any of you met with him???) were both very helpful yesterday.

Did or does anyone else have a problem getting the BM to call back? I have left 2 messages for Ron today, and about 5 in the past month that haven't been returned, and its getting frustrating.

Ron never returned any of my calls. I stopped bothering with him and called other people instead.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
i met with Erga and it was very nice. I'll be honest, i'm still not convinced I'll get the cake I gave them a picture of, but I'm more confident that I'll like it now, than I was last week.I gave them this pic, and told them I want it hexagon shaped with black details instead of what looks like brown to me in the pics.
it'll be yellow cake, with choco chip canoli filling, and whipped cream frosting
