Denise Richards, 35, was spotted with best friend Heather Locklear's soon-to-be-ex husband Richie Sambora, 46, over the weekend of April 22 at a café in Westlake Village, Calif., kissing passionately multiple times on the patio of the restaurant! Plus, the couple — whose relationship kicked off in March, Star has exclusively learned — was spotted strolling hand-in-hand outside the eatery!

Not surprisingly, the affair does not please Locklear, who views it as betrayal. In fact, when Denise went with a friend to a Bon Jovi (featuring Sambora) concert and after-party on March 3 in L.A., a source tells Star: 'Heather went crazy when she learned her best friend had gone to the party. She told Denise she was a traitor who had betrayed their friendship.' She reportedly even went so far as to ask if Richards and Sambora were having an affair, and Denise — who hadn't slept with him yet — was too stunned to answer, prompting Locklear to proclaim, according to a source, 'Well, I think you've answered the question. I never want to see you again. You no longer exist to me. It's like you've died.'

Denise herself is going through an ugly divorce battle with Charlie Sheen. She filed papers on Friday in L.A. Superior Court, claiming Charlie threatened to kill her, and was abusive towards her and their daughters. He was ordered to keep 300 feet away from Denise and their daughters. Charlie struck back, calling Denise's accusations a 'smear campaign and clearly a departure from sane, responsible co-parenting.'

Meanwhile, Sambora is going through a divorce from Locklear, who filed papers on Feb. 2 after sources said she discovered a steamy photo emailed to him by his ex-assistant Stephanie Heaton, showing her in stocking and little else

O'Donnell to Replace Vieira on 'The View'

NEW YORK - Rosie O'Donnell is expected to make a surprise return to daytime television by taking over exiting Meredith Vieira's slot on the talk show 'The View.'

O'Donnell's appointment was reported Thursday by the newsmagazine 'Extra.' It was confirmed by a person close to the show who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because 'The View' wanted to make the announcement on Friday's show.

ABC officials declined comment on the report on Thursday.

Dubbed 'The Queen of Nice' when her syndicated talk show went on the air in 1996 and became an instant hit, O'Donnell won six Daytime Emmy Awards in six years as best talk-show host. She left the show to help raise four children with her partner, Kelli Carpenter O'Donnell.

It's an important appointment for 'The View,' which was created by Barbara Walters. Vieira's news background helped make her the solid center of the program on the days Walters didn't appear on air.

But Vieira joined the game of musical anchor chairs that began when Katie Couric chose to move to the 'CBS Evening News.' NBC quickly named Vieira as her replacement on the 'Today' show, where she will begin work in September.

Joy Behar and Star Jones Reynolds, who have been bickering at each other lately, are also members of 'The View' round-table, along with Elisabeth Hasselbeck. They're nominated together in the best talk-show host category at Friday's Daytime Emmy Awards.

'I think every agent in America is calling,' Walters told The Associated Press shortly after Vieira's departure was announced on April 6.

O'Donnell has acted in a variety of movie, TV and stage shows, including the films 'A League of Their Own' and 'Sleepless in Seattle,' and 'Grease' on Broadway.

She should have no problem holding her own with the other ladies on 'The View.' Since leaving daytime television, O'Donnell has become a strong advocate of gay and lesbian marriage and adoption. With her partner, she operates a cruise line for gay and lesbian families that was recently featured in an HBO movie.

PROUD dad Tom Cruise last night said new baby daughter Suri was “gorgeous” – and praised fiancée Katie Holmes for giving birth in silence like a true Scientologist.
Cruise, 43, told pals he had been “jumping on couches” since Katie gave birth to the 7lb 7oz tot on Tuesday.
Speaking publicly for the first time since the birth, Tom said: “It’s a girl! It’s a girl! Her name is Suri and she’s gorgeous.”
And he praised his fiancée for staying silent during the birth saying: “Kate was, and is, an absolute champ.”
Cruise stroked Katie’s face and held her hand during the birth to help her stay silent in accordance with the wacky religion’s guidelines.
Katie, 27, managed to stifle her moans with the help of a pain-killing epidural injection.
Cruise also ordered medical staff to stay silent, meaning the delivery nurses had to make hand signals to tell Katie when to push.
The bizarre order was because Scientologists believe noise when a baby enters the world causes it suffering in later life.
However, Cruise did let Batman Begins star Katie have a pain-killing epidural shot, even though he is against the use of prescription drugs.
A source said: “Tom was determined to make Katie as comfortable as possible. He was holding her hand and stroking her face to soothe her during the delivery.
“Everybody in the room was told to stay silent and the nurses made hand signals. But Katie did indicate she wanted an epidural to help with the pain.
“Tom recorded the whole thing with a camera and said it was the most beautiful moment of his life.”
Cruise had spent thousands on preparing the couple’s Beverly Hills house for a home delivery. But Katie is thought to have insisted on going to hospital and Suri was reportedly born at the St John’s Health Center in Santa Monica.
Cruise’s spokesman Paul Bloch refused to confirm where the birth had taken place but said mother and baby were doing well at home.
The Sun can reveal that a few hours later Cruise made a secret visit to the Scientology HQ.
His black Ford Excursion people carrier was seen leaving his home for the short journey to the Church Of Scientology Center in Hollywood.
It is understood Cruise went to the Centre to confirm the facts about Suri’s birth to senior Scientologists.
A Scientology insider said: “Tom would have been required to report back about the birth, tell them if it was silent or not and if Katie was given drugs. He would have been asked to hand over notes and recordings to supervisors who will determine if anything traumatic happened to the mother and baby. If so, Katie will be given extra counselling — or auditing as the church calls it.”
Cruise cancelled his publicity tour for Mission: Impossible 3, which opens in a fortnight, to spend more time with Suri.
Katie’s parents, Martin and Kathy Holmes, are understood to have travelled to the couple’s mansion to see their new granddaughter.
And Katie’s aunt, Carol Zydorczyk, said from her home in Toledo, Ohio: “I can’t really comment but we are all delighted.”
Cruise, who has two adopted children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman — Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11 — plans to marry Katie in the summer.
And the new mum isn’t dragging her feet over getting back into shape for the ceremony.

My aunt is a Jehovah's Witness and they have to do things like this too....they have to lie when they visit me...they say they are 'counselling me to the truth' but in reality, i banned such talk years ago if she wanted to be in my life.....and it worked...also, in order for my cousin to be a BM i had to reassure them all that it was NOT in a church (which it wasn't going to be, but still) so that there was no conflict! I think it's funny that it's ok if a preacher performs the ceremony for her to be a part of it, but it can't be physically in a church!

I have plenty of family memebers who are Jehovah's Witnesses. They never have to lie to visit me or any other family members who aren't ' in the truth' so they put it. And they def, dont' have to give birth in that matter. But it is true, according to their religion that they shouldn't participate in anything whether it be wedding ,funeral, or anything for that matter in a church. But it's still their choice if they do.
