Tom Cruise, who had his first child with Katie Holmes on Tuesday, says the birth of their daughter, Suri, 'was everything that we wanted.'

'It was spiritual. It was powerful. It was indescribable. What words can you use? It's still something that I'm processing and keep reliving,' the actor tells ABC News' Deborah Roberts in a 20/20 interview airing Friday,

Cruise made his comments on Thursday night during an interview with the cast of his upcoming movie, Mission: Impossible III, including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Keri Russell and director J.J. Abrams.

Asked whether he'd scale back on his movie stunts now that he's the father of a new baby, Cruise tells Roberts, 'No. I mean, I have three beautiful children (including Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, from his previous marriage to Nicole Kidman). And I love the adventure of life and filmmaking. … You can get struck by lightning walking out of your house… I’m interested in life. And, I’m very active and I love it.'

In fact, Cruise admits that he suffered an injury while filming M:I 3. 'I separated six ribs at a certain point. I never told J.J. or anybody when it happened.'

Cruise even jokes about his well-known enthusiasm. When Roberts asks if he was pleased with the way the film turned out, he says, 'If there were couches and chandeliers, I'd be jumping up and down!'

This comes as hardly a surprise, but Denise Richards' divorce to Charlie Sheen is crossing over to Hoff-nian territory.

Richards' lawyer went to court on Friday, alleging that hard-partying Charlie has threatened her and that his pornography and prostitution habits have put their children at risk, report our pals at Cops Online.

Sheen has denied most of Richards' claims.

Amongst Richards' allegations?

- Sheen pushed her
- Shoved her
- Threatened to kill her
- Made threats against her parents

Additionally, Denise claims that during their reconciliation last September, she discovered Sheen was visiting websites with 'very young girls, who looked underage to me, with pigtails, braces, no pubic hair, performing oral sex with each other.'

Sounds like Charlie Sheen to us!

Richards claims she fears for her life and has sought a restraining order against Sheen, who told her after she allegedly discovered the websites, 'I hope you f--king die, b1tch.'

In addition to asking for the restraining order, Richards also asked that Sheen's visitation rights be suspended or monitored.

The judge granted Richard's petition. Sheen is ordered to stay 300 feet away from Richards and also required that Sheen's visitation with the children be monitored.

And, even more shocking, Richards also claims in her 17-page declaration that Sheen accessed other websites 'involving gay pornography also involving very young men who also did not look like adults.'

Denise Richards and Richie Sambora have been getting cozy: The pair were spotted kissing in Southern California this weekend, PEOPLE reports.


Heather & Richie: A Surprise Ending
On Saturday, Richards, 35, and Sambora, 46, the soon-to-be ex-husband of Heather Locklear, arrived at Le Café in the Westlake Village neighborhood outside Los Angeles at about 5 p.m. in separate cars. In the parking lot, the two kissed then walked hand-in-hand, smiling and chatting the entire way as they headed for the restaurant.

Inside, they shared a table in the covered patio where they gazed into each other's eyes and held hands across the table. Eventually, Richards planted a kiss on Sambora's hand – and he returned the gesture, kissing hers. They then kissed again on the lips.

They left the restaurant at 5:45 p.m. in the same car together. Sambora has a home in Westlake Village.

On Friday, Richards filed a 17-page court document claiming that her estranged husband, Charlie Sheen, had threatened to kill her. The actress also claims that during their marriage, Sheen abused prescription medication, had violent mood swings, was a compulsive gambler and visited pornography Web sites featuring 'very young girls.' Sheen has called Richards' claims 'vile' and 'baseless.'

Richards originally filed for divorce in March of last year, when she was six months pregnant with the couple's daughter Lola. The pair appeared to briefly reconcile after Lola's birth in June, but on Jan. 4, they requested that their divorce proceed with a private arbitrator.

In February, Sambora – who's the guitarist for Bon Jovi – split from Locklear, his wife of 11 years. The couple have an 8-year-old daughter, Ava.

Richards and Locklear are pals who grew even closer during Richards's split from Sheen. Locklear, who starred with Sheen in Spin City, attended Richards's baby shower before she gave birth to her daughter Lola – and helped take care of the baby after she was born.

PROUD dad Tom Cruise last night said new baby daughter Suri was “gorgeous” – and praised fiancée Katie Holmes for giving birth in silence like a true Scientologist.
Cruise, 43, told pals he had been “jumping on couches” since Katie gave birth to the 7lb 7oz tot on Tuesday.
Speaking publicly for the first time since the birth, Tom said: “It’s a girl! It’s a girl! Her name is Suri and she’s gorgeous.”
And he praised his fiancée for staying silent during the birth saying: “Kate was, and is, an absolute champ.”
Cruise stroked Katie’s face and held her hand during the birth to help her stay silent in accordance with the wacky religion’s guidelines.
Katie, 27, managed to stifle her moans with the help of a pain-killing epidural injection.
Cruise also ordered medical staff to stay silent, meaning the delivery nurses had to make hand signals to tell Katie when to push.
The bizarre order was because Scientologists believe noise when a baby enters the world causes it suffering in later life.
However, Cruise did let Batman Begins star Katie have a pain-killing epidural shot, even though he is against the use of prescription drugs.
A source said: “Tom was determined to make Katie as comfortable as possible. He was holding her hand and stroking her face to soothe her during the delivery.
“Everybody in the room was told to stay silent and the nurses made hand signals. But Katie did indicate she wanted an epidural to help with the pain.
“Tom recorded the whole thing with a camera and said it was the most beautiful moment of his life.”
Cruise had spent thousands on preparing the couple’s Beverly Hills house for a home delivery. But Katie is thought to have insisted on going to hospital and Suri was reportedly born at the St John’s Health Center in Santa Monica.
Cruise’s spokesman Paul Bloch refused to confirm where the birth had taken place but said mother and baby were doing well at home.
The Sun can reveal that a few hours later Cruise made a secret visit to the Scientology HQ.
His black Ford Excursion people carrier was seen leaving his home for the short journey to the Church Of Scientology Center in Hollywood.
It is understood Cruise went to the Centre to confirm the facts about Suri’s birth to senior Scientologists.
A Scientology insider said: “Tom would have been required to report back about the birth, tell them if it was silent or not and if Katie was given drugs. He would have been asked to hand over notes and recordings to supervisors who will determine if anything traumatic happened to the mother and baby. If so, Katie will be given extra counselling — or auditing as the church calls it.”
Cruise cancelled his publicity tour for Mission: Impossible 3, which opens in a fortnight, to spend more time with Suri.
Katie’s parents, Martin and Kathy Holmes, are understood to have travelled to the couple’s mansion to see their new granddaughter.
And Katie’s aunt, Carol Zydorczyk, said from her home in Toledo, Ohio: “I can’t really comment but we are all delighted.”
Cruise, who has two adopted children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman — Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11 — plans to marry Katie in the summer.
And the new mum isn’t dragging her feet over getting back into shape for the ceremony.

My aunt is a Jehovah's Witness and they have to do things like this too....they have to lie when they visit me...they say they are 'counselling me to the truth' but in reality, i banned such talk years ago if she wanted to be in my life.....and it worked...also, in order for my cousin to be a BM i had to reassure them all that it was NOT in a church (which it wasn't going to be, but still) so that there was no conflict! I think it's funny that it's ok if a preacher performs the ceremony for her to be a part of it, but it can't be physically in a church!

Jessica 'Heartbroken' by Nick's Tell-All

Jessica Simpson is said to be “devastated” by a recent tell-all interview that her ex, Nick Lachey, gave to a magazine about their relationship.

In the published interview Lachey said he still loved Jessica, felt 'blindsided' and 'sucker punched' by her decision to divorce and that she refused to try counseling.

Jessica's reaction? 'She was devastated, heartbroken,' says an insider. 'She didn’t think he would do that.”

Friends gathered at Simpson's house on the day the article came out to console her. And Lachey himself even called to check in. 'He wanted her to hear it from him,' says a Lachey friend. 'He felt bad that she was upset. (But) Nick didn’t apologize, because the things he said (in the article) only demonstrate that he loves her.'

Simpson sees it differently. 'What really upset her was the timing,' says the insider. 'Nick waited until two weeks before for his album to debut (Lachey's CD, What's Left of Me, will be released May 9] to tell a reporter that he loved Jessica. That’s not cool.' Furthermore, the insider adds, 'he keeps saying, 'I'm sorry I couldn’t make her happy,’ but he is not choosing to say why.'

For her part, Simpson chooses to remain tight-lipped. She was scheduled to be interviewed for a Vanity Fair cover story, but that has since been canceled after it became clear that she would have to talk about the divorce. “She will not take the low road,” says the insider.

Instead she is throwing herself into recording her next album and launching a line of hair extensions. 'Financially and businesswise, she’s hotter than she’s ever been,' says the insider.

In fact, money may be a sticking point between the two. Soon after Jessica filed for divorce in December, Nick specified that he reserved the right to ask for spousal support, though the published interview says he denies he will ask for alimony. Another possible sore point, adds the insider: 'The family thinks Nick is attacking everybody but himself.'

But his friends beg to differ. 'Nick took responsibility for the split more than anyone else,' says a friend.

While Jessica's father and manager, Joe, is sometimes mentioned as a force behind the breakup, the friend says, 'Nick doesn't blame Joe. It's no one's fault. He doesn't blame Jessica.'

Still, the friend adds, 'Nick never wanted this marriage to end. He would never want to hurt her.'
