Her cheekbones look so hollow and puffy, like they're swollen (although it's probably just because she's soooo skinny!) I agree, she used to be so pretty.

Another feeling David Hasselhoff wasn't able to stop: pain.


The 'Hooked on a Feeling' singer and current America's Got Talent judge underwent emergency surgery in London Thursday after slicing a tendon in his right arm during a freak shaving accident.


Publicist Judy Katz says the erstwhile Knight Rider hero was attempting a post-workout shave in the gym at London's Sanderson Hotel when he hit his head on a glass object, pieces of which cut into his arm.


While various British media reports claim the offending item was a chandelier (!), Britain's Sun tabloid pegs the culprit as a glass shelf.


'David had just finished working out in the gym at the hotel where he was staying,' Katz is quoted in the paper. 'He was getting ready to shave and bent down but when he stood up David hit his head on a glass shelf and it shattered.


'Some of the glass got into his hand and cut it quite badly.'


The former Speedo-loving Baywatcher was taken from his temporary West End digs--he's in London working on some TV commercials--to St. Thomas Hospital to undergo an operation to repair the severed tendon.


'He's fine,' Katz told the Associated Press. 'He's out of the hospital and will resume filming tomorrow.'


The 53-year-old actor alum arrived in London earlier this week to star in a series of spots for Pipex, a British Internet company.


The accident may have been some kind of karmic justice.


Hasselhoff recently disappointed audiences across the pond by canceling his debut pantomime role as Captain Hook in the musical Peter Pan, due to open this year in London.


He reneged on the theater gig after learning the schedule would clash with his current day job, acting as judge on the Regis Philbin-hosted, Simon Cowell-produced talent search, America's Got Talent.


He judges the competition alongside Brandy and British journalist Piers Morgan.

PARIS (AFP) - Actor Vince Vaughn has proposed to Jennifer Aniston, his co-star in the movie 'The Break-Up', during their recent trip to Paris to promote the movie, according to reports.

Aniston, the 37-year-old ex-wife of heartthrob Brad Pitt, said yes after Vaughn, 36, popped the question while down on one knee and is already making plans for the wedding, the Internet Movie Database website said Wednesday.

It added that Aniston -- who started dating Vaughn while pairing with him on the set of 'The Break-Up' -- wanted to wait until all the fuss over Pitt and girlfriend Angelina Jolie's new baby had died down before exchanging vows.

Vaughn and Aniston followed in the footsteps of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who last year also got engaged in Paris while on visits to plug films they were in.

That bewitching booty may not be the only mojo Jennifer Lopez has working. Her former husband Ojani Noa claims J.Lo cast 'voodoo' spells on him and other lovers.
After their marriage ended, 'She was doing bad things to a lot of people,' Noa alleged in a deposition last month. 'She was doing all this religious bull- ... to me, to [second husband] Cris [Judd], to Puffy [Combs], to [current husband Marc] Anthony.'

Reps for Lopez and Combs declined to comment on the hoodoo charges yesterday.

Noa made his claims during a grilling by Lopez's lawyers in connection with their 2005 agreement barring him from discussing their 11-month marriage.

Even though Lopez paid him $150,000 to keep his mouth shut, she alleges Noa has tried to sell stories to tabloids and has been shopping a book proposal about their romance. Lopez, who went to court to block that deal, says he even asked for an extra $5 million in hush money.

How did he think he could get away with it?

'I live in a free country,' Noa told Lopez's lawyer, according to papers posted on Court TV's thesmokinggun.com. 'I can express myself. I can talk and say whatever I want to. No?'

Well, no. Last week, Noa agreed to an injunction gagging him.

This isn't the first time it's been alleged that Lopez may have been a devotee of Santeria, or Way of the Saints, which draws on an African tradition of chanting, trance states and animal sacrifice. In 2003, it was reported that Lopez called off her wedding to Ben Affleck after her spiritual adviser, Merle Gonzalez, warned against it.

How right she was.

If only Britney Spears had let Ms. Gonzalez gut a goat or something before she married K-Fed.

Martha's Vineyard was buzzing over the weekend with the rumor that Def Jam president Jay-Z and longtime girlfriend Beyoncé were holed up in Chappaquiddick for a holiday weekend wedding - their own. A Lowdown spy on the island reports: 'Word is that they were trying to rent out a huge house on Chappy for the festivities. Everyone was talking about it.' But it seems Jay-Z and Beyoncé didn't tie the knot. Jana Fleischman, spokeswoman for Def Jam, told Lowdown: 'They were there, but they didn't get married.' However, Fleischman refused to comment on whether a wedding had been in the works.
