Did anyone do any fun wedding planning this weekend?

FH and I are seeing a videographer today. I hope we both like them....want to cross another big item off the list!

I looked at two churches and finally decided on my own parish after much looking. Just have to schedule an appt to book..super happy.

we are just trying to finalize the wedding list..
we just add 15 people so the guest list now 215 i wanted to cry

215?! Dios Mio...how many were you aiming for? Don't feel bad, FH and I wanted 100 with a goal of an intimate wedding of 85....it grew to 150 and we'll probably have 140. Latinos, gotta love them.

GURL! You're booking the parish! Nice. I booked my home parish a few weeks ago. I grappled with it too- maybe something closer to the RH or the church 10 blocks away which has a more private entrance.

In the end I chose my parish, the outside isn't perfect the but the inside is beautiful and I've spent countless hours within those very walls over the years praying with so much intensity...it only feels right to celebrate my most special Blessing there

O yes finally lol..the thing was my FMIL was supposed to have showed me some churches because i gave my fh the option to pick the church since i had picked the hall.So she was taking forever and we finally saw the churches and when she called the rectory for one of them they took awhile to call back so my fh got upset. So he told me that he wanted to look at churches around my house like my parish and another church. So finally said that he wanted my parish..long story lol. I love my church i did my communion but not my confirmation so i will be doing that also.

Its tough because you cant cut anyone out because all those people are important to you...i have its website Ascension its small but i love it..

Church is very nice! OMG girl you are up to 215!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crazyyyyy! Its going to be beautiful though.. your good.. I would go crazy if I ended up with so many people.. lol! My FH brother had 200 this past summer.. it was really nice though.. her place was HUGE so it was very spacy...

I don't think too many of my invitees will make the ceremony but my Mom, in an effort to have it be full is going to pack it by inviting ALL of the her 'Grupo de Oracion' friends and she is also inviting other Charasmatic Catholic Groups....if this doesn't work, she's having her friends on 'radio Maria' make an announcement....if you know all these organizations, you're probably chuckling.

I figure this should yield about 80 people. A nice size.

Omg thats a whole lot of inviting lmao..moms are too funny sometimes lol..my fh wanted a big church but he realized that his family wont make it so only my immediate family will be there so like 20 people...so we opted for the smaller church so it wouldnt look so empty lol

Your Church is perfect for what you are looking for. It will be beautiful. I wish I could fast forward to see pictures!!!
