You're welcome. They actually contacted me about two weeks after I signed my contract with FH. Give them a call and see if you can go in. It's well worth it. They should have given you an envelope w/an intro on their services and a breif description in the folder you should have received when you booked.

nope. we went to talk to this guy who is the vp of operations for scotto bro's ( a friend of fh's friend and a very very nice guy) and he said that the only thing that fox hollow could do was to paint and refresh all of the chairs the day before our wedding. (i think they do this every couple of weeks.) and he said that they are supposed to have that old antique look. (ugh!) i'm so burnt w/ this wedding planning cr@p i give up! fh and i decided the chair covers weren't worth it and them painting the chairs would be good enough.
the good thing about our meeting was that b/c of the friend they had in common, he gave us 3 extra stations at our ch (which was about $15 per person total.) we're thrilled with this and i've stopped worrying about the chairs.

Wow! That sounds like a good deal to me! Seriously with all of that food nobody will notice the chairs...I'm sure its just us being over meticulous with every last detail!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I got married at fox hollow in 9/9/04, and it was absolutely wonderful. The ambiance, the staff, the food, the service was exquisite. I don't doubt that you ladies will have the best time of your life. That day, I felt like a true princess.Congratulations to you all who have chosen the best catering hall. You will NOT be disappointed.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Just wanted to share a review of Fox Hollow from Memorial Day Monday afternoon - May 2002 from the bride's point of view. She told me all of this last night so I decided to share.
I was a guest but do not recall many details except I had a great time and the ice cream cake (in addition to the wedding cake) was great. There was a ton of food and most guests assumed cocktail hour was it. According to the bride they did not add any upgrades except flowers on the cake for like $100.
At the time, I did not know Fox Hollow did more than one wedding at a time since they handled this wedding so well. I don't have any pictures scanned although I did take a ton back then and gave copies to the groom.
The couple has moved but are in NY this weekend visiting for their 3 year anniversary.
So, back to the review. This was a Jewish wedding with a twist. There was a rabbi and a priest since my friend (the groom) is Catholic. Her family came in from CA and the groom's family came in from Miami. They decided to see each other before the ceremony to take pictures. The bride (who made the mistake of having her BP on Saturday night through Sunday) stayed at the Inn at Fox Hollow with the bridal party before the wedding. She was throwing up all weekend and thinks she had alcohol poisoning from the BP that Saturday night. She burst a blood vessel in her eye but I had not noticed at the time and it's not noticeable in her pictures either. The photographer (not sure of his name but will get it) was excellent. I do know he is the assistant of a $9K photographer and he shot the $9K photographer's wedding. The assistant was $4,500 (half price of the photographer she wanted to use). You could not tell that the blood vessel had burst. She said the Inn was wonderful to her and her guests and that it was a beautiful photo location.
The wedding was in the afternoon. Cocktail hour was first in the Winter Garden Pavillion, the ceremony was about an hour in the front garden and then the reception was in the Briar Fox. There were about 120 guests.
The bride said they were treated like royalty by Fox Hollow. Everything went smoothly and the only reason she even knew there were other weddings taking place (3 possible at a time at Fox Hollow) is because they opted to take photos prior to their afternoon wedding. Because of that, they saw the rooms being set up and other brides arriving.
Her only caution was the bouquet toss and the garter toss. I did not recall this until she mentioned it but a 14 year old girl caught the bouquet and a 7 year old boy caught the garter. It was hilarious to see him put the garter on the little girl. Her SIL was married 3 months later and because of that, the SIL had all the little girls come up and she tossed them flowers and then she had all the little boys come up and she tossed them footballs. The SIL then had the adults come up for the bouquet & garter toss.
ETA: Oh, and the bride said Fox Hollow included the aisle runner and the flowers with pedestals for the aisle. They are roses, lillies, some filler & greenery (all white). I think there were 6 or eight pedestals along the aisle.
The cake flowers were about $100.
ETA - the professional photographer they wanted to use is David Lindner…website is www.davidlindner.com. They used his assistant instead for half the price.

Hi ladies! I am so excited that I found this site! I am recently engaged and am very close to booking my wedding at fox hollow....I have read the reviews..they have been very helpful...my only concern is the multiple parties at one time...was that a problem with any past FH brides??? Would love to hear back from anyone....thanks..

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Hello Sea,When I got married, I was the only bride that day. But of course, my wedding fell on a Thursday, and Frank assured me that he would not book any more weddings for that day, and promised that I would be his only bride. : ) On another note, I have been to a wedding at FH in February of last year, and it was on a Friday. I didn't see another bride, although I don't doubt that there was another party going on. The way the hall is set up, you will most likely never hear nor see the other bride, especially depending on the room you book. If you book the larger room, your party will be on the other side of the main entrance, which will guarantee you that you will feel like you were the only FH bride for the day.
The place is beautiful, the service is OUTSTANDING, and the staff is just amazing. They make you feel like you are a princess for the day. And, they didn't nickel and dime us. There were things we'd asked for that wasn't on our menu order, and FH threw it in at no extra charge. How awesome is that?
My last words to you. When Bryan (my husband) and I were touring FH and asking questions, Frank Marino (sp?), said to me, 'Ericia, FH is your place. You are the boss. You tell me what you need, what you want and I will see that it gets done. I don't want you to have to worry about anything. You want this room (the largest bridal sweet),it's yours. This is your place!' I love it!
Best of luck!!
