Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Okay, I finally had a chance to speak w/Frank my new BM! I had a bunch of questions that might be useful to a few of you!

-Are there bathroom attendants?
Yes

-Can I provide bathroom baskets?
Yes, but the attendant has many items

-Are there any restrictions w/vendors and insurance?
Just have the vendors call and speak w/FH

-Are there floral arrangements for the bathroom and cocktail hour?
Yes, provided by FH

-When can the vendors arrive?
Obviously this works on a person by person basis....Our wedding is a Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Our Florist can arrive at 7:00 p.m. to set up for our 8:30 p.m. reception

-Number of people per table
12

-Min/Max for the Winter Garden
120 Minimum, 150 Maximum

-What's included in the Mini-Vienesse?
Pastry station, Cookie station, ice cream station, and fruits w/fondu station (chocolate). So! You don't have to get a chocolate fountain!

Thanks, Christine! This was really helpful! I have been working with Frank Marino all along and he has been helpful. Now I just need to find out how much the mini-vieneese costs and if I can use a chocolate fountain from another vendor!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I'm calling too!!! I got the choc. fountain for free but I don't think that's nearly enough. Dessert is my favorite!!! Definitely going to negotiate the mini-vieneese I just hope I still have some leverage seeing as I already signed.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

girls, would some of you mind fm me what you are paying and what what you negotiated for. Me and fh were a little dumb when we booked and so at the time didn't really know we could fight for different things to be included any info would be great. Thanks so much.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

unfortunitly fh and i were extremely clueless when we first started planning. we probably scr*wed ourselves with several of our vendors. foxhollow was only the 2nd place we went to and we booked them on the spot. we didn't even know to negotiate. so stupid! oh well, what's done is done.

i have my menu and linen appointment 5/3 tuesday and i'm SOOOO excited! i can't wait to design my cake! i also have a list of questions a mile long and i'm going to try to get some more extras but probably can't at this point.

i also may go to erga the fh bakery to taste some cake on sat. . i'll let u know how that goes.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I actually have a question...

When I booked, I too didn't negotiate or anything...we loved fox hollow and just wanted to book it while we were in NY...met with Mel who was a little intimidating and now i wish we had asked more...

Had anyone ever guaranteed less than 175 for the garden terrace room? I would love if the min. guarantee were 150 but i think that may be too low :( Just worried now about # of guests..

Thanks ladies!!!
