Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I had my CH in the room with those chairs and i dont think anyone noticed. when the room is filled with people and all that food was in there for the CH there were many other things to be paying attention to, BUT I would defenitely say something to them about it bc they shouldnt have chipped or damaged anything with all the $ you spend! When i did my menu I had asked about chair covers and they said they would be including them soon. so maybe if you complain about the chairs and are adamant about it they will throw chair covers in for you...

We have this room for our reception and twelve chairs fit per table. We have a guarantee minimum of 120 - but the MAXIMUM for this room is 150.

Stick to your guns and make sure you don't invite anymore - the last thing (by freak of nature of course) is that all 146 come!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Hi Hi-I just got married at FH on 4.30.05...we had WGP room (with chair covers)
and had 138 people. We had 12 tables with 11 to 12 at a table and it was NOT too tight..I was concerned as the time got closer, but I specifically looked around and all had enough room...also- once the music started there weren't a lot of 'sitters'..We decided to eliminate one table as we wanted more room for dance floor and space for people to hang out and it worked out well.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
DSandBS do you have any pics of the room set up for your wedding? Did you sit in front of the fountain? Did you have tables in the center and sides of the room or just along the sides?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
fh and i don't like sitting all the way in the back by the waterfall but we don't want to sit in the front by the dance floor either b/c we don't want our backs to the guests. so fh and i made up this seating plan (if we have 11 tables, 10 would be even better though.)it's different but what do u think? honestly...

Paula, how many people did you have in winter garden for CH?
I had 158 people at the wedding.
They all fit comfortably at the cocktail hour, but the dance floor and sides of the room were filled with the food displays...so its hard to compare.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Okay girlies! I met with the Party Planners today at the FH - they were fantastic! They are basically a 'bridal consultant/coordinator' to an extent. She went over a timeline and etiquette, suggested vendors, gave me a list of what to ask vendors and how to go about insurance expectations as well as invitations - when to send them, who/when to call when people don't RSVP, etc.It was VERY beneficial, but a lot of things I'm sure will be a repeat of what you have read on the boards here. It's free and well worth it.
Unfortunately, there were parties going on in both the Briar Fox and Winter Garden so I couldn't take pictures w/out being invasive....sorry girlies!
I did take a careful eye to a lot of things going on, and I realized that I (all of us) have made a great decision w/FH. Even though parties were going on - there were always employees doing something politely and w/out confustion. Even those who were serving at the Bat Mitz. took time to ask us if we needed any help w/anything. The bathrooms were in tip top condition (all three I looked at - men and women) and I was really really happy! There were three parties going on, and a few were being set up in other rooms, but there is SUCH a seperation between the rooms in the layout that it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to run into someone from another party.
Hope this has helped ya out! Sorry for the long arse message!

ONE MORE THING: I think i read it somewhere on here or the '06 boards, but, there is a Bridal Expo at the CB on 5/24 - yikes, i hope that's the date. I received an invite in the mail today and the Perfect Party Planner reminded me of it.let me know if you need additional info!
