Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I went a few months ago, Christine. It was ok... I met with the planner and she basically gave me some tips on vendors, etc. I had most of my vendors booked by that time so it wasn't that useful. But it's free so I went!

That's what I figured - I basically discovered that their 'preferred' vendors are out of my budget range, and I have most of my vendors already booked....

It's too bad they don't offer a tasting - think that's a little weak in my opinion - they told us we can eat at the restaurant to get a taste of their food, but we'd have to pay for it - Frank A my old BM said he wouldn't charge us for anything except for the entree's but now he's not there...wonder if anyone else did that?

I went to this last year. They introduce you to some of their vendors. FH and I actually did book mostly Scotto Vendors. We were very happy with the recommended vendors.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Im back from my honeymoon.
Everything with the wedding went as planned for the most part, except for the flowers. I wouldnt recommend their perfect party planner, Chris. He got the centerpieces all wrong. Everything else was great. Fox Hollow did a wonderful job! I will give a full review once I settle back in to reality.

Did they use an outside vendor or their 'house vendor' - the one where there's a $10 credit per table? Welcome back, hope everything went well and you enjoyed yourself! Can't wait for the review and the pics!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

the menu/linens/cake are all set. the only thing that we were not happy with was the HORRIBLE chairs in the winter garden room. they had chipped paint and thin yellowing cushions! now i think i have to get chair covers (i hate chair covers and i'm broke) but they cost so much $. and i also don't think it's fair that we have to pay for them b/c fox hollow should have appropriate chairs. i'm not sure what we're going to do about this yet.

here are some pix. i'll post more later when i finish resizing.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Did you complain about the chairs? You're spending a lot of $$$...you're right the chairs should not look cr@ppy!!! You're right... you can see the chips on the bottom. I'm not being picky...I'm worried about the chairs myself...but I do LOVE that room!!!!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I agree about the chairs! .. but I love everything else so I was willing to over look the chairs (besides I've seen worst at other popular halls!). I think all of us FH brides should say something!!!

When Frank gets enough calls from the brides about the chairs, maybe they'll do something
