I got my BM to add mini vieneese!!! woohoo

what is that?

A MV - is when they include other desserts besides the cake - such as a cookie station, ice cream station, chocolate fondue station, and a pastry station.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

My BM didn't say anything about the choc. fondu station even when I asked but maybe he didn't know what he was talking about. He did let me keep the choc. fondu station in addition to the mini vieneese. also, when i booked i got them to give me min. of 150 for the garden terrace room.

so exciting you're going to pick out your cake!!! let us know about the tasting once you go. i can't wait for that part!

by the way, where is everyone having their rehearsal dinner's? i can't decide where to even look, but i do want it to be around fox hollow.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Thanks anyway. That's awesome you have a place already. I've called a bunch of places around fox hollow and only stresa east can accomodate around 50 people on a saturday night. my sister's RH was there and it was awesome it's just a little bit pricey.

I actually have a question...

When I booked, I too didn't negotiate or anything...we loved fox hollow and just wanted to book it while we were in NY...met with Mel who was a little intimidating and now i wish we had asked more...

Had anyone ever guaranteed less than 175 for the garden terrace room? I would love if the min. guarantee were 150 but i think that may be too low :( Just worried now about # of guests..

Thanks ladies!!!

Our guarantee for the Garden Terrace is 150

i think it's $7 extra pp but don't let them make you pay it. negotiate it into your contract.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Chocolaugh...did you add in the MV after you signed the contract or while negotiating?

We didn't negotiate anything...we went to Fox Hollow after visiting a different hall and was getting almost double the stuff for a better price so we were thrilled and didn't even thin to bargain!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

here's what it says in one of the brochures they gave me:

'Grand Viennese Tables
a magnificent array of desserts including crepe suzettes, homemade Italian pastries, apple cobbler, puddings and French butter cookies, accompanied by a vast assortment of cakes, pies, fruit tarts, strawberries and bananas hand dipped in chocolate to order. Your guests will delight in an ice cream sundae bar placed curiously close to our waffle station, French mousse and hand carved exotic fruit. Of course, the international coffee station will be a big hit.'
