All you recent October Fox Hollow brides...we're dying to see pics!!!
I will post a mini review of fox hollow for you guys shortly, unfortunately, I did not get to enjoy my wedding at all, I was too busy trying to make sure things were correct, there were just too many mistakes that were made and it was a huge disappointment, you all may have remembered how I used to say that I always pictured myself having my wedding there, well, I almost wish I would have dreamed of having it somewhere else. Unfortunately, the day cannot be replaced for me, but hopefully the rest of you will have better luck that I did
I am so truly sorry to hear this.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Believe me, nobody is more sorry to have to say it than me. I know you never really enjoy your own wedding, but it was ridiculous. Once I saw that the cake on display wasnt even mine, I knew there was going to be trouble and I was right. I had to watch what was going on the entire reception! Hopefully the rest of you dont have to go through what I did.

I my gosh!!! I am so sorry to here that. Now I am worried.... I really hope things change. Were they many weddings going on at the same time? (Although that is no excuse!) I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I will definitely post both the good and the bad, believe me, it wasnt all bad, but there were so many unnecessary screw ups. My parents are still speaking with them and I dont want to post anything yet. What really bothers me is my dad made it very clear on what he expected, spoke with Karen at length who advised that if anything went wrong, we have her name to blame it on. We were assured that problems that occured at fox hollow in the past would definitely not occur.
He also spoke with maitre d and chef prior to the wedding and still, had a laundry list of problems.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Girls, I just wanted to let you know that the service my husband and I received at Fox Hollow on our wedding day was unbelievably wonderful!!! Our bridal attendant was Renne and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!Highlights of Renne's service:
-She reminded me to lower my blusher before I walked down the aisle because I totally forgot.
-She ran to the house florist to wrap my husband's boutineer stem with black ribbon after my florist screwed up and sent it over wrong, and then she even pinned it on him for me.
-She learned the names and faces of our parents and siblings right away and was able to run and get them for us after our ceremony so that we could take family photos.
-She stepped in and helped my friends bustle me when it was obvious that they had no clue as to how to do it.
-She made sure I had something to drink at all times - even bringing me my glass and holding it out for me to sip from when I was talking to my guests at a table!
-When I was complaining that I wanted to take my veils out but couldn't because my hairdresser cut them off of the combs and pinned them deeply into my hair, she immediately took me up to the bridal suite and patiently unpinned them for me and repinned the top of my hair so it looked good!
-She made me a sampler from my Viennese hour and brought it to my table so I could sit and enjoy everything. She even dipped goodies in the chocolate fountain for me!
-In addition to packing up all of my Viennese left-overs and the top of my cake, she packed two pieces of our wedding cake for us so that we could 'enjoy it again before our honeymoon.'
Overall, she seemed genuinely happy to assist me and felt more like a personal assistant than a bridal attendant. She was such a sweetheart and calmed me down, constantly complimented me (I'm needy and insecure like that) and made me feel like a celebrity/princess.
Just wanted to share

Girls,Where can I book a hotel room near the Fox Hollow? The Fox Hollow Inn is kinda pricey for my guests..Does anyone have any suggestions of any and if they provide shuttle services? Also, if the hotels don't provide shuttles where should we go for a good price on getting a shuttle bus?Thank you.

ask fox hollow for a list of hotels in the area....they gave it to me when i booked telling me how the inn was pricey and i could use the list of other hotels in the are for the invites to give ppl a choice which we are going to do....as for shuttle buses i dont think fox hollow has this bc the inn is so close but u could always ask when u ask for a copy of the hotel list....hope this helps a bit

I would suggest the executive inn too. Me and FH went to go check it out. Nice rooms, cute place, reasonable prices and they run a shuttle.
