Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Posted by Autumn08

What's the timeline for a Sunday evening event? Ceremony, CH, Reception I'll be in the WGP.

Autumn08- I'm not sure if you ever got a reply about the timeline. I am doing a friday evening wedding in WGP- so I'm not sure if it is the same timeline...

but here it goes anyway.

7pm invite time
7:30 actual ceremony start time
8-9 Cocktail Hour
9:15- 1:15 Reception

Hope that helps!

My BM was Charlie at the Fox Hollow. I just called with a quick question and learned that he no longer works there. Does anyone else think its weird that they didnt contact the couples who he was working with to let them know this? Or am I being anal?

**Update - nevermind, I was told that all you really do with them is book the event, so its not that important. All the other details are done through other people.

I think it is def weird they didn't contact us. And i just called earlier today and was told since my wedding is so far away i still need to speak to banquet managers for when i have questions, and as we get closer i will be talking to Jen.

here's a question for my fellow wgp girls? Does fox hollow provide music during the cocktail hour?

Yes, they do. We had music piped in for CH and it was fine.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I went to the PWP Tea Party tonight. Depending upon how far you are along with planning, it can either be very useful or a waste of time. Basically they tell you about the vendors they recommend. If you have done a lot of planning, the only reason I would recommend going is either the free dessert or because James (who is in charge of PWP) is one of the funniest people I have ever met. (I randomly met him on the train one day and talked to him for the whole ride).

Please add me 7/21/07

I have no idea. Maybe since I'm a Friday Night wedding they do it later so that people who work can still make it to the wedding. Or maybe they just want to get out of work earlier on sunday? hee hee.

I meant why is your invite time different than your ceremony start time?

I think it's their bridal showcase. I'm pretty sure they only do it once a year at the Fox Hollow. Last year it was in March and FH and I were going to go with both of our parents to show them the place but my mother was put into the hospital that day for a kidney stone attach and we had to cancel!

Needless to say I hope they do it again this year cause I'm REALLY looking foward to going!

Oh. oops. Now I'll answer the right question. They suggested that I put my invite time 1/2 hour earlier so that people were at the location on time. I think 7:30 is literally the time the ceremony starts (Bridal party walking down the aisle, etc.) So putting it early gives them cushion time.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Ok so I just called the Fox Hollow.. For those of you that booked with Charlie Glad who is no longer there.. I found out that they need to put you in contact with another banquet manager. I also found out that they are not planning on doing the big food tasing thing this year!!

I had to leave a message for another BM named Ron and I hope he gets back to me soon.

See I dont think I need the PWP cause I have all my vendors booked already... right??
